We visited there twice- first time was great. Today the steak salad was good especially the meat, except rotten avocados on the side, and another dish had a rice so salty it was impossible to eat. Our waitress was great and brought a fresh normal side of rice.

Haven’t stepped foot in this building since they renovated it from the last restaurant. They did an amazing job with the interior, staff was welcoming and friendly! Food was amazing!!! Hot, fresh and high quality. Having this location here is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and I will be there more often.

A friend and myself ate here for lunch. She asked for her steak medium well, but it came out raw. I politely asked the waitress if it could be taken back and cooked how she asked. The manager came over and cordially handled it.
It came back perfect. The food is amazing. However keep in mind what makes a restaurant great isn’t primarily the food. Yet it also has to do with the service. This establishment has incredible service. We all have a life outside of our work environment. Treat people how you want to be treated. The staff brings their A game to work. This place goes above and beyond to make sure their clientele has a great dining experience… TIP THEM WELL…THEY DESERVE IT…

I took my son and his girl out to lunch/brunch the came and visited. Saturday 7th of March. I heard they where good. So we did have a reservation for 2:15p there two groups of people ahead of us in the line waiting for the reservation. The front reservation lady the hostess was taking him in and sending them out. Spoke how you doing and took their reservations when we got up there. She didn't make eye contact. She didn't say be right with you. Like we wasn't there and I know she saw us just kept going about her business so 6 minutes later she finally looked ( no smiling didn't look happy to be there)up said how may I help you Didn't ask if we have a reservation like she asked the previous two groups if we had a reservation. She said okay we're just cleaning your table. So we waited another 20 minutes before we got our table, which I had to go up again and say we're waiting on our reservational table, another 5 minutes later We got the table. I will be honest it was busy,but that no excuse for not being cordial. In the beginning, our waitress didn't seem very happy to be serving us. Her vibe was like annoyed. Did get a little better because you know I'm a good guy and I was trying to make her smile cuz I know how it is. I used to work in the business.aomqe order appetizers in a cocktail for the beginning. I've wanted the eagle rare cuz I seen it on the bar and I hadn't had the wow and it's a pretty good bourbon and we asked for three glasses of water because everybody's table had a bottle like a milk bottle for water and glasses that they can refill. It's the first thing I noticed servers bringing out to the table when the sat down,well that didn't happen I had to ask twice for water once when we put in our appetite orders and drinks, the second time was when she brought the appetizers out. She still didn't bring out the drinks and that took a minute for the appetizers to get there. The food came and it was good. STELLA (I think was our server)was still seemed a little better but still seemed a little annoyed . I had order the Tavern burger with a side of garlic mashed potatoes (which was (like warm)😐 I didn't bother asking to rewarm them cus the food in general came a little slow and I was hungry. My Son had the Texas burger with mushrooms and broccoli on side,his lady had chicken strips and fries. So by this time the restaurant has calm down and Stella(I think was name) came back to ask was everything okay I apologized to her and said that all we didn't get our blue cheese dressing for the chicken wings to go with the buffalo sauce. She seemed a little more friendly and she Cuz slight smile this time but I felt I had to apologize because it felt like I was bothering her by asking for certain things like earlier my cocktail was eagle rare and she came back and said there was no eagle right? And I'm like oh it was on the bar on and I pointed to which side and she said the bartender said it wasn't there and asked I said I apologize but can I look and I can show you and it was right there. She seemed a little annoyed about that. I don't know if it was the annoyance of me or the bartender not looking. Either way that's why I gave it a three star at this time cuz my initial service wasn't good with the hostess at front. No eye contact avoidance and then no smiling like I didn't feel like she wanted my business and then you know the our server was seemed annoyed. Eyes rolled one time. That's why I started apologizing cuz I felt that I did something wrong and I didn't want our food to get messed up or be late and I wanted good service because I tip I tip well because again I used to be in the business. I will go back and try again. Hopefully to give four or five star that I've seen some of the comments but at this time I experienced at tavern in the square. Was it three good food service this time? Mediocre and because my food wasn't hot and missing a couple of cues on my drink. And stuff we needed. That's why I gave it the rating. Try it for yourself though. Let me know what you think.

Midday lunch on a Friday on a random stop after shopping ended up with me here. Apps were bbq pizza and pretzels. Both were delicious depending on which you prefer. Entrees were a burger and tips. Dessert was cookie skillet and donuts. The food was beyond good especially for the price. They get bonus points for having a reward program as I did not know it was a chain. The caramel dip for the donuts was crazy. This place was top notch minus the service. It did not seem busy yet it took crazy long periods of time for our waitress to come back to the table for simple things like water or mistakes with food. She also wasn’t too pleasant until time to pay for the check. Overall this is a must go again !
