Been going occasionally the last few years but recently became disappointed by server disappearance (my partner walked around and found him chatting with other servers) and surprisingly the crab cake appetizer per unit was smaller than a single average hush puppy. I dare not get scammed by ordering that again, not because of taste but simply because of the lack of value. Steak is always perfectly seasoned, food overall is always enjoyable and the lighting is beautiful and warm. The last couple of times has had a novice but decent saxophonist but his accompanying music tracks are played a bit too loud to have pleasant table conversation. The idea of light sounds is a nice added touch so the idea is excellent. Just too loud for an establishment I can only assume wants to maintain a reputation of class--unlike many Atlanta restaurants. Anyway, I look forward to returning. Will just try requesting a table in a location I can hear and talk without yelling because food is really really great here.

A very enjoyable dining experience! Sydney was patient and kind as I looked through the expansive menus for food and beverage. I enjoyed the espresso martini, the crab beignets, and the tiger prawns and grits with chicken sausage.
Everything was delish! I look forward to going again maybe for their supper club dinner.

My girls and I had a wonderful dining experience at Verdure, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Lashun. From the moment we were seated, Lashun was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He had great knowledge of the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made sure everything came out just right.

What really stood out was Lashun’s positive attitude and attention to detail—checking in at the perfect times without ever feeling intrusive. It’s clear he take pride in providing excellent service, and it truly enhanced our overall experience.

I would absolutely return to Verdure and would gladly request Lashun again. Highly recommend!

I wish that I could say that I had a good experience here but I absolutely did not. Before beginning I will start with the one pro which is that the atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant is very nice but other than that you can go elsewhere. We only had 8 guests so I’m not sure why it states we had 9. The food is mediocre. The red rice was hard, the macaroni was bland, the crab cakes were just okay, and our table was never offered or received any bread so I’m not sure why bread service is even listed. The drink in the picture is the cocktail in question. I took the picture before knowing that I was about to consume alcohol. Our server name was Ymani, and she had a nice/nasty, aggressive, and nonchalant attitude. I’m currently 8 months pregnant and was served alcohol. Me and another guest ordered a mocktail and we were both served cocktails. That is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. When we brought that to the waitress attention she was very careless. She stated “Oh….I’m sorry he was supposed to make a mocktail. Let me go check” she then came back to the table with the mocktails and said “These are the mocktails” but the alcohol was already consumed. She then took the cocktails and tried to give them to the other guests at the table stating “They ordered these” but why would you now be giving the other guests drinks that were drank out of?? The bill wasn’t comped, she didn’t offer anything to resolve this matter, nothing. It felt like a simple “Oh well that you and your baby consumed alcohol, here’s your mocktail” Furthermore for the guests who did order a cocktail, no one was asked to show their ID so not only did you serve a pregnant woman alcohol, what if the guests that you served were underaged? I’ve had way better service from “fine dining” restaurants and I wouldn’t consider Verdure as fine dining. She also charged us for an item that we didn’t order and when we made her aware of that, she acted as if it was an issue to remove it. Every time she became aware of her mistakes it’s like she had an attitude instead of owning up to it and fixing it. Our bill total was $770 and nothing at this restaurant was worth that amount.

I visited for my birthday while in town with family. My cousin made reservations here after hearing great things. We were seated immediately, and the ambiance was beautiful. A gentleman playing the saxophone really elevated the atmosphere, and the birthday card waiting on the table was a thoughtful touch.

We started with the Kiwi Passion Fruit Margarita, which our waitress recommended it was refreshing and strong. The Crispy Fried Octopus appetizer was excellent and had us looking forward to our meals.

Unfortunately, the entrees didn’t quite live up to that start. I ordered the Afriki Red Snapper Filet after learning the Pan-Seared Loup de Mer was unavailable, and my cousin got the Grilled Piri-Piri Chicken. While the Herb infused Mac and Cheese and Fried Plantains were delicious and hot, both entrees were quite dry and room temperature. The snapper sauce was flavorful, but the dryness of the fish took away from the dish.

Our waitress gave great drink suggestions but seemed rushed throughout the evening and mentioned the kitchen was closing soon when taking our entrée order, which felt a bit confusing given our reservation time. She did bring out the Tigernut Crème Brûlée for my birthday, which was a nice gesture. The custard was had a great taste, though the sugar topping tasted a bit overly burnt.

Overall, the ambiance, live music, and birthday touches made the evening special, though the food and service were a bit inconsistent.
