The front desk ladies (Karima, Christina, and Denise) and gentleman (Peter) were very inviting and courteous made sure I was comfortable as I waited to be seen. Alexandra N.,Teresa and Julian were so professional and the procedure was painless and looks fabulous. The doctors at this dermatology clinic are excellent, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff has been consistently disappointing!!!!
On multiple occasions, there appeared to be significant issues with appointment management. I had to schedule my appointment three separate times because I was repeatedly told that I did not have an appointment on record, despite having made one in advance…
Most recently, I arrived approximately 10 minutes late due to train delays. I called ahead to notify the office and explain the situation before arriving. While I understand that punctuality is important and that late arrivals can affect scheduling, I was disappointed by the way I was treated when I arrived… Instead of receiving a professional response, the front desk staff made side comments and appeared to be laughing while I was simply asking whether the doctor would still be able to see me.
Patients deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, even when unforeseen circumstances arise. Professionalism should be maintained at all times, especially in a healthcare setting.
It is unfortunate because the location is convenient, and the doctors themselves are truly outstanding. However, the poor customer service and lack of organization at the front desk significantly detract from the overall experience. I hope management addresses these issues because the quality of care provided by the physicians deserves to be matched by the quality of service patients receive from the administrative staff.

This was by far the worst location I have visited. I've been a patient of Dermatology Specialists for years and have had appointments at several different locations, but my experiences at this office have been consistently disappointing.

From the moment I walked through the door, I felt unwelcome. The front desk staff greeted me with cold expressions that made me feel as though I was in the wrong place. When I approached the desk to check in for my appointment, I was simply told, "Have a seat," in a very unfriendly tone.

As I was walking away, I heard the same staff member call out, "You have a copay." I explained that this was a follow-up appointment from two weeks prior, but was met with another cold response: "Well, it's listed here as a medical visit." I said that was fine and asked how much the copay was. She replied, "$25."

When I handed her a $50 bill, she held it in her hand and said, "I can't take this." Another employee sitting next to her then chimed in and said, "You'll have to go to a store or something to get change." The entire interaction was incredibly rude and unprofessional. At no point in the appointment reminders, emails, or text messages was there any mention that exact payment.

At that point, after being treated with such disrespect, I simply said, "You can cancel my appointment." The only response I received was, "Okay." As I was leaving, I could hear comments being mumbled behind the desk, which only added to the unprofessional atmosphere.

What's most disappointing is that this wasn't an isolated incident. I had a very similar experience with the same front desk staff during my visit two weeks earlier. Because I had a scheduled follow-up, I decided to give the office another chance. As a nurse working a 13-week contract in the area, I understand that healthcare can be stressful, but there is no excuse for treating patients this way.

I will not be returning to this location and cannot recommend it based on the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer service shown by the front desk staff.

Had an amazing experience here for my first dermatology appointment and yearly skin screening. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially the medical assistant, who made me feel very comfortable throughout the visit. The doctor was super helpful, patient, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The office was very professional and efficient with a fast-paced but organized environment. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone of any age looking for a great dermatology experience.
