On July 17, a technician at Valvoline Lombard threw heavy jumper cables across the bay, slamming into my battery area and causing a massive short circuit. The next day, my car suffered a complete electrical shutdown in heavy traffic during a 95-degree heatwave. My certified mechanic confirmed the impact blew my 200A alternator fuse and fried my battery, resulting in $1,038.81 in damages, towing, and losses.

Instead of taking responsibility, Area Manager Armando and his boss, Tim, spent 45 days playing games—continuously asking for more time and dragging out the process just to dodge paying for the damage their own employee caused. After dozens of exhausting calls to customer service, they ultimately rejected the claim.

If you use Valvoline Lombard, you are risking your safety and your vehicle, backed by management that refuses to stand by their mistakes.

Service was well done and very fast. It was a Monday morning and I pulled right in and was complete in about 10 minutes. Levi was very friendly and professional. Checked me in quickly and got right to work. Gladly accepted/scanned the coupon code I had on my phone email. He thoroughly explained a few additional services that my car could be due for but there was no pressure. Printed out some info on those services in case I wanted to come back for those. He showed me the new clean oil on the dipstick and I was on my way. I had a great experience and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!!

The best.i never leave reviews but I slid in 20 mins before close on a Sunday. Thought they closed at 5 and I was wrong. They close at 4. I work in retail and HATE when people do that. These dudes were hella cool and nice. Took great care of me. Had me in and out. I usually go to Chevy dealership to get it done but no matter the car, take it here. They rock. Appreciate you guys!!!!
