Let me say the staff is amazing and nice and Noah is so nice and helped us. Food is fairly priced as expected. Now this rating needs to be a 1 star but for the sake of your staff they are helping this terrible theater. The seats are terrible and horrendous. Like I’ve been to janky movie theaters but this is crazy. Seats look like a dog tore it up!!! This is said and the owner needs to do better. People buy tickets to see a movie and with how the world is today money is important to people. If I’m being honest this is disappointing to me especially since it was Tuesday 1/2 price day to save me some bucks. Every person who walked in was in shocked how they seats looks and that’s not good. Look you keep replying to these reviews who are saying the same thing I am but what are you going to do about it and if anything ? Anyway this isn’t to bash you but take this seriously as this sad to this location at a prime spot in Kingwood.

This theater used to be one of the best in the area. It had fair ticket prices, good concessions, and comfortable reclining seats. Unfortunately, over the past 3–4 years, it’s gone downhill.

The biggest issue is the seating. The recliners are worn out, with the faux leather peeling off, and some are even missing armrest covers or cup holders. They should have been replaced years ago. I went today with my family and immediately felt dirty and uncomfortable sitting in them.

The overall cleanliness has declined too. There was a puddle of spilled soda and popcorn in the concession area when we arrived, and it was still there over two hours later—no caution sign and no effort to clean it up. Even the bathroom sinks are awful; they spray water like a pressure washer, soaking your hands, clothes, and the counter.

Other things have slipped as well. The only drink cups available were Styrofoam, and the projector or screen looked cloudy along the bottom of the image.

What happened to this theater? It feels like management has simply stopped caring. This used to be my go-to theater, but with better-maintained options like Cinemark and Regal nearby, I can’t justify coming back unless they invest in deep cleaning the facility and replacing the seats. It’s disappointing to see how far this place has fallen.

Overall, a nice movie theatre. Their seats are just a little busted. A friend and I went to see Backrooms - they had plenty of showtimes, a good quantity of seats and prices were fair. Their concession area is attractive and clean. They offer the usual concessions along with a full bar that serves signature cocktails, beer & wine and seltzers. We got two of their Popcorn Old Fashioned’s and a medium popcorn. Good quality drinks and snacks. Their chairs are reclining and have a food station that swivels around. The leather on the seats are worn out, but they and the inside of the auditoriums are clean. Overall, it’s a fine place to see a movie comfortably, and slightly cheaper than Cinemark.

3.5 stars. I only go here because the chairs are the best. Overall the food is gross and expensive. People are super nice though. And it’s usually disgustingly dirty that I actually bring a towel to lay on lol but the last time I went I can tell they have prioritized cleaning up alittle more. So that’s good. A lot of the chairs either don’t work or are missing leather. Just old. But again, SO comfortable and they lean pretty far back. Also, the theater was pretty hot last time I went. AC wasn’t keeping up.
I wish they would put some money into the theater because it’s honestly our favorite place… cause of the chairs 😅

The overall experience was disappointing. The screen image looked dim and slightly faded, lacking the brightness and contrast you expect from a modern theater. On top of that, many of the recliner seats are severely worn, with peeling material and visible deterioration on the seat cushions.
Between the faded projection and the poor seating condition, the experience doesn’t justify full ticket prices. This location needs reinvestment in both projection quality and seating to meet basic expectations.
