We really need to figure out the popcorn. I come here A LOT and it's 2 levels below all the major brands, cinemark regal amc ect.

The popcorn is consistently soft/squishy. I make my own stove top popcorn at home that's more crisp than at Star Cimema. The food and service, theatre sound are all great. With good crispy popcorn I'll change this review to 5 star.

I go here twice a week so if reviews just get ignored I'll slowly drop it to 1 star. Please improve, I just want DECENT popcorn, thank you.

A really cool little place. But, the prices are high. I ordered two regular beers, a mixed drink and a lemonade for a child. It was $58 plus a tip came to $65.
We got in the movie theater and a waiter came to our seats and took our food order.

Theatre is cool, food is also pretty good. We love the kids summer movies options. Although some sort of a brunch meal, not the entire menu or anything, would be a cool idea to make it just a little bit better. Haven’t had this issue before but the reason we are leaving two stars today is that our theatre smelt of cigarettes this morning. Completely turned our stomachs. Not sure if it’s just dirty theatre or if someone was smoking in there last night but it was nasty.

My family and I have been coming to this location for years, and we've always had positive experiences. Unfortunately, our most recent visit on was extremely disappointing.
We purchased tickets for the 6:00 PM showing of Toy Story, but the movie did not begin until approximately 7:30 not even the previews started on time. During that entire delay, no one came into the theater to explain what was happening, apologize for the inconvenience, or provide any updates regarding technical difficulties. It wasn't until several other adults and I left the auditorium to ask what was going on that we received any information.
The theater itself was also uncomfortably warm. When the movie finally started, I noticed it was playing in 3D. I went to the front desk to make staff aware of the issue, but my concern was immediately dismissed. I was told the movie was not in 3D, despite what I was clearly seeing on the screen. Rather than argue, I returned to the theater and spoke with our waitstaff, who were absolutely wonderful. They listened to my concerns, took them seriously, and checked the screen for themselves. They quickly confirmed that the movie was indeed playing in 3D and worked to have the correct version started.
I understand that technical difficulties can happen, and I appreciate the efforts of the waitstaff to resolve the issue. However, the lack of communication during the delay, combined with management dismissing a legitimate customer concern and offering no apology, made this experience very frustrating and disappointing.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future guests do not have a similar experience.

I had a great experience at Star Cinema Grill during our daytime movie, and a lot of that is thanks to Karla. Her service was exceptional from start to finish—quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She checked in at the right moments without ever interrupting the movie flow, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of.

The theater was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, and Karla’s professionalism added an extra touch that made the visit even better.

If you’re planning a daytime show, I definitely recommend Star Cinema Grill—especially with Karla taking care of you.
