We had a wonderful stay at Tru by Hilton Middleburg Heights and would absolutely stay here again!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was excellent. Su checked us in and could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. We booked directly through the Hilton website, and this hotel was a great find. It’s only about a year old and is immaculately maintained — everything still feels fresh, clean, and new.

The rooms are very thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and spotless. The linens were fresh and clean, and the bathroom was exceptionally well maintained. Housekeeping services the rooms every other day, which I actually appreciated, but we did request fresh towels each day and they were cheerfully provided without hesitation.

Complimentary breakfast is served from 6:00–9:00 a.m., and free coffee and tea are available throughout the day, which is a really nice touch.

There’s also free parking, the parking lot and property are well lit, the landscaping is beautiful, and the hotel is pet friendly — another big plus for us.

Most importantly, the hotel is clearly very well managed and cared for. Between the cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, Tru by Hilton Middleburg Heights exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Su for making such a great first impression. Highly recommend!

I want to recognize Brittany in Reservations for providing exceptional customer service during a very stressful travel experience.

I ended up calling three separate times regarding a three-night reservation after my travel plans unraveled due to air traffic control staffing delays that caused multiple flight cancellations. Every time I spoke with Brittany, she was cheerful, patient, and genuinely eager to help.

She went above and beyond trying to make sure the other guest on the reservation wouldn’t be left without accommodations while we sorted everything out. Unfortunately, we ultimately had to cancel the entire reservation, but thanks to Hilton’s excellent cancellation policy, there was no cancellation fee because we canceled within the allowed timeframe.

Throughout the entire process, Brittany remained calm, professional, and incredibly kind. Her positive attitude made a frustrating situation much easier to deal with, and that’s the kind of customer service people remember.

Brittany is a real star on your team. Please pass along my sincere thanks and recognition for a job exceptionally well done.

The hotel itself was great! It’s brand new so everything very clean and fresh. The breakfast was sufficient, but I just wish there was more to choose from. Unfortunately while we were eating breakfast, the woman who was working the front desk and supervising breakfast (7/19 @ 6:45am) was walking around and talking very loudly to guests who were just trying to eat. The conversation she initiated with us was very inappropriate, and she was making racist remarks and talking down on people who are from Strongsville. We couldn’t believe she was making comments like that while working, and especially to strangers.

I will not be returning to this establishment. Given the price point, I anticipate a superior overall quality. The refrigerator failed to adequately cool beverages, the bed comforter appeared to be of substandard material, and the wooden floors exhibited a noticeable stickiness. Furthermore, the toilet produced excessive noise during flushing. Additionally, the decaffeinated coffee put out was cold.Despite setting the air conditioning to a lower temperature to ensure a cool return, particularly given the 90-degree outdoor temperature, the setting was subsequently adjusted to 76 degrees. I extend my best wishes to the establishment.

Always stays at Hilton. They clean the room every other day. They tried to clean but we were still in the room then our room was not cleaned at all. Check in process was a breeze, easy parking. The shower is very weak, and the coffee they serve is a very diluted coffee, does not taste like coffee at all. The hot water for the tea was not hot enough to brew good cup of tea. Bed there is great but the pillows are easily got flattened. Otherwise, it is okay. We paid $190 a night.

Very clean, very nice rooms. Big TV, modern bathroom. They mean it when they say 24hr coffee bar. I got coffee at 6am, 11am, 4pm, and 1am. Staff was nice.
The one headache was the traffic to get out of the cul-de-sac. Very busy road, just dont try to turn left and you'll be fine lol.
