Vitalli and Ilona did an awesome job with our internet upgrade at our farm in Caledon.

We inherited an old system that was pulling in a Rogers 5G signal, and was capped at 50 mbps download. After living with it for a year, we decided it was time to upgrade.

We decided to go with Starlink based on recommendations from friends, so we reached out to Sense Group for an install.

Ilona helped us order the correct Starlink hardware, and Vitalii had us switched over in a single visit.

We were able to pull in 200mbps from the Starlink router which was great, but speeds were throttling down to 80mbps through the existing mesh system in the house.

Vitalii helped us review the existing Wifi setup in the house (4 x UniFi Access Points running off a TP Link router) and shared that upgrading to a UniFi Dream Machine UDM, 2 x upgraded switches, and adding a new access point on the main floor would increase performance.

He also found that we had 3 x Ethernet ports behind our TV’s that weren’t wired up properly, which was great, because we wanted to hardwire our IPTV boxes (Nvidia Shields).

A second visit happened within the week to get all the new hardware installed and cabling competed.

We are pulling in 200 Mbps across the whole home and have better range on the property out to our stables.
