Ali from Murtex Electric demonstrated exceptional professionalism from start to finish. He arrived promptly to diagnose an issue with my breaker and was highly knowledgeable, transparent, and communicative throughout the entire process.
Ali quickly identified the root cause of the problem, coordinated effectively with Toronto Hydro, and completed the necessary repairs efficiently. His colleague, Nicholas, who assisted with the repair, was equally professional and provided excellent customer service.
I was very impressed with the quality of their work and their commitment to ensuring the issue was resolved properly. I highly recommend Murtex Electric for anyone seeking reliable and professional electrical services.

Murtex Electric delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. We hired them for a **200 amp electrical service upgrade** and the installation of a **whole-home surge protector**, and the entire job was handled with professionalism, precision, and care.

Ali and his team were extremely knowledgeable, organized, and easy to communicate with throughout the process. They explained the upgrade clearly, coordinated everything properly, and made sure the work was completed safely and to code. The new 200A service gives our home the power capacity we needed, and the surge protection adds peace of mind knowing our appliances, electronics, and electrical system are better protected.

The workmanship was clean, the panel area looks excellent, and everything was done with attention to detail. It is hard to find an electrical contractor who combines high-quality work, clear communication, and genuine pride in the final result, but Murtex Electric absolutely delivered.

I highly recommend **Murtex Electric** to anyone looking for a reliable electrician for a **200 amp service upgrade, panel upgrade, surge protector installation, or residential electrical work**. A true 5-star company.

On Sunday September 21, 2025, I telephoned Murtex Electric in a panic because we could not locate an alarm that went off every 2 minutes, for over 24 hours. Yes, we checked every battery, every device and then some.

Murtex Electric was the only electrical company that clearly specified they were available 24/7 for emergencies.

My call was quickly answered. I spoke directly with Ali, who put my mind at ease and assured me, that someone could arrive in a few hours.

I was impressed: Ali took the time to actually hear my concern in detail. He then explained that it was my decision, since our electrical panel was fairly new, had been inspected and approved by the City, I could wait and save on the cost of an emergency response because he would send someone out the next day (Monday).

On Monday, Ali and Nicolas arrived on time, with all equipment in hand to locate the alarm whether it be in the ceiling, walls or outside.

Ali's attitude and that of his worker, Nicolas, demonstrated expertise, professionalism, skill, courtesy and respect for our home.

The alarm was found and deactivated. - Peace at last! - Thank you Murtex Electric, Ali and Nicholas.

Great service from Ali. He quoted the same day I called and came by the very next day to fix my issue. Lovely chap, took the time to explain what was happening and ended up fixing multiple issues on the same circuit that he noticed while investigating the original problem.

It was a fixed fee for what was meant to be a simple repair, so he could easily have been in and out as fast as possible, but at no point did I feel that was the case. Even after the issue was resolved, he checked every other part of the circuit to make sure there were no secondary problems.

He also took the time to talk me through a few upgrades I might consider in future. No sales pressure, no quote, just useful advice. I’d happily use Ali and his services again.

We had a fantastic experience working with Ali and Nicholas from Murtex. From the very beginning, we were impressed with the quality of their work and how polite, thoughtful, and professional they were throughout the entire process. After our first job with them, my partner and I started thinking about a few other things around the house, and we reached out to Ali for his thoughts. He was honest about what was possible, made some really helpful suggestions, and took the time to understand what mattered most to us.

What stood out was how much they genuinely cared about getting everything just right. Ali made adjustments based on our preferences and made sure we felt comfortable and confident with the work being done. The level of customer service and attention to detail went well beyond what we’ve experienced with others. It’s clear they take real pride in what they do.

We highly recommend Murtex for any electrical work—big or small. Thanks to them, we feel like we’re getting closer to making our home exactly the way we want it.

It is a pleasure working with Ali and his team. He was able to diagnose the issues, present solutions, and execute the job with care. Our project took about 5 days and Ali communicated with us at every step of the way and accommodated our schedule.

The work itself was impressive. We were highly satisfied with his attention to details for safety and aesthetics because we were meticulous customers. He never shied away from questions and took his time to respond, leaving us feeling reassured.

It was also satisfying knowing Ali offered competitive pricing and warranty on his services. Ali’s team were professional and punctual throughout and we highly recommend them for electrical work.
