Weβve truly enjoyed our time here. The campground has a peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and a relaxing environment for families and guests looking to unwind. The sites are well maintained, and thereβs a nice sense of community among campers.
One thing we especially appreciate is the quiet environment and the opportunity to enjoy nature while still having the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay. The team works hard to keep everything running smoothly and make guests feel welcome.
If youβre looking for a place to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and create great memories, Bass Lake Campground is definitely worth visiting!

Ok overnight stop, easy access from and to the highway. Very small sites and not very level. Gentleman was mowing well after 5:30 with a VERY loud mower. Not pleasant after being on the road for a good part of the day π. Other options in the area so most likely will not return.

The staff is the only reason Iβm giving three stars. If it wasnβt for the staff Iβd be giving it a one two stars. The staff were awesome very friendly and helpful.
This rv park was my first lesson in trusting fellow reviewers. There were plenty of reviewers who had no place leaving reviews for the rv park. I wonβt get into it but there were a lot of reviews that never stayed at the park so in my humble opinion they shouldβve never left a review.
However there were a significant number of reviews that had a moderate opinion of this park. And unfortunately they were right. Primarily the moderate reviews gripped about the roads, long time renters and a rule book that was twice the size of US tax codes.
But despite all the rules it wouldnβt take Forest Gump to figure out that their rules were not so much a rule but a suggestion.
There is not a pool despite their camp site map showing one. They are pet friendly but donβt take your pet off of the main roads and they donβt want any pets on their massive 15β x 30β beach area.
Of course you canβt swim or wade in the βlakeβ or Iβd call an average size man made pond, so donβt do that either.
Just to recap, donβt do this, donβt do that, donβt park here, donβt park there, donβt walk here, donβt walk there. But if youβre a long timer you can apparently do as you please.
To wrap this up, the staff made us feel more than welcome and they were great to deal with. Some of the negative reviews had merit but not all. If youβre passing through and only staying a night or two by all means stay here. The registration process and rules made me question staying here but we gave it a shot anyhow. Not the best or the worst place weβve ever stayed.

Very quiet, clean, very large sites with propane, dump station with a lake. Easy access and exceptional friendly staff. We have stayed here in the past and will be back.

Beware of the road coming inside of the campground. Thereβs massive potholes all over the place. Not sure why they havenβt filled those holes considering itβs a campground and weβre all driving large rigs, typically. However, the site was wonderful! The water pressure was the best weβve ever experienced at a campground!!! WiFi was good too. It was very quiet and peaceful. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet!! Would definitely stay here again! Just please fix the potholes π

Definitely only an overnight spot IF you can't find anything else . The driveway in is a rutted mess , our site was horrible full of tree roots making it difficult to walk or have a level spot. Camp map shows there is a pool..no pool. But a lake for fishing. It's mostly a full time trailer park .

I was a delivery driver trying to find the customer as heβs giving me directions to his location and the owner comes driving up real fast on a cart stops in front of my car real fast just being real nasty to me acting as if I come out there to steal when Iβm telling him what Iβm there for to deliver groceries to a customer but heβs still acting like Iβm coming there to steal but Iβm a 5 foot female driving alone if I wouldβve pulled my gun on him because of how he pulled up on me I wouldβve been wrong he has a very bad attitude I will not be delivering to anymore customers because of how I was treated

Loved our overnight stay on our way back home! Great location right off of I-95, easy in and out. Beautiful lake we hope to return and enjoy and the bath house was the nicest we've ever seen at a campground. The owners and staff were very friendly. The unexpected bonus was that it's located at the same exit our favorite fireworks store (Jabs) so we stocked up for our 4th of July party.

Deduct one star for the condition of the roads, but otherwise itβs clear that they are working hard to update and improve the site.
We only stayed one night, and road noise from the nearby highway is constant. BUT that means it is easy on and off!
I always think you can tell a lot about a place by its bathrooms, and the owners clearly agree. The menβs room is one of the best I have seen on a campground, no mean achievement.
WiFi was spectacular, a huge plus!
We will definitely stay again on our trips up and down I-95.

We stopped for a two night stay. Fellow campers were quiet and considerate of fellow campers. My husband commented on how nice the office staff was, I did not meet them. There are a lot of tree ruts and fire ants, neither of which were a big issue for us. The day was filled with highway noise, the night was quiet and peaceful. The dog park was large and equipped with dog stuff. The only thing missing was a poop station like other campgrounds provide. This was not an issue for me as I always carry my own. The campground has plenty of signs reminding campers to clean up after their pets. Yes, there is a lake with a sign it has alligators. I did not see an alligator and I did not fish. The price was comparable to other campgrounds in the area. There is no pool in this campground. The bath house seemed nice, we did not use it. The laundry room appeared clean, we didnβt use it. The gate opener was broken, I guess someone ran into it. It was not an unpleasant stay.
