The dog groomer went above and beyond! My pups hair cut looks wonderful! He came home happy and looking good. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. The manager Amanda was very helpful. Everyone there seems so sweet and love what they do! I will definitely be coming here for boarding and dog grooming. I cannot brag about this place enough

I’m writing this as a close friend of the dog’s owners. When they were notified that their dog became seriously ill while boarding at Dogtopia Louisville, the dog was immediately picked up by the family and rushed to the emergency vet.

After the dog was discharged from the ER, I took him into my care so he could recover in a calm, safe environment with close monitoring. He had been experiencing vomiting and bloody diarrhea, which is extremely concerning for any dog.

This dog is truly an amazing, gentle, and well-cared-for dog, and seeing him in that condition was heartbreaking. Given how sick he became while boarding, it raises serious concerns about what may have occurred during his stay and whether proper supervision, care, and safety protocols were followed.

With proper medication, rest, and close monitoring, I’m thankful to say that he has been doing much better since leaving this facility and being cared for at home.

What also stood out to me was the lack of follow-up from the boarding facility. After the dog was picked up and taken for emergency treatment, no one from the facility reached out to check on his condition or see if he was okay.

When you trust a business with your pet, communication, compassion, and accountability are essential — especially when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, based on what I witnessed after taking over his care, those standards were not met.

I’m grateful he is recovering now, but I would strongly encourage other pet owners to carefully consider their options before boarding here.

Amazing Dog Daycare Experience!
Dogtopia has been an absolute game-changer for me and my pup! From the moment we walked in, the staff was so friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell they truly care about every single dog that walks through their doors.

The facility is super clean, organized, and has a great setup for play, rest, and one-on-one attention. My dog always comes home happy, tired (in the best way), and excited to go back. The webcams are such a fun bonus—I love being able to check in during the day and see my dog having a blast with new friends.

The team at Dogtopia goes above and beyond with their customer service. They remember my dog’s name, his little quirks, and always give me updates on how he did. It feels like a second home for him, and that kind of peace of mind is priceless.

Highly recommend to any dog parent looking for a trustworthy, loving, and professional daycare! 🐾💛

My dog Banjo loves Dogtopia. He always has a blast there and when he comes home he passes out for hours. The staff is incredibly nice, understanding, and super knowledgeable. Banjo also loves one of the upfront girls who has all the tattoos, she’s so sweet to him. 11/10 would recommend.
