Very helpful and friendly staff at this newer location of UCCU. As someone who lives in Summit County and is often in Salt Lake City vs in Utah County, this branch is a welcome location.

The loan dept was easy and quick to deal with. However, I had to go into the SLC branch on 21st So. and one of the tellers there made me want to NEVER EVER bank with this CU.

Disappointed they didn’t honor the loan rate in marketing materials that clearly included business Vans, transit vans. 4.99 bs 6.75% is a big difference. Marketing and underwriting need to get on same page.

Extremely unfair and predatory loan practices.

This company charged a loan that ended up totaling nearly four times the value of the car. After the vehicle was totaled, the insurance company paid their portion, but instead of resolving the account fairly, the company came after the client for additional money.

When the client paid the amount they demanded to close the gap, the company later came back again asking for even more, despite the fact that the client had been making on-time payments for four years and never missed a single payment.

There was no clear explanation, no final resolution, and no accountability. The balance just kept changing, and they refused to let the matter go even after the client complied with every request.

This feels like a pattern of predatory and misleading practices, not a good-faith lender. I strongly caution anyone considering a loan with this company to read the fine print carefully and be prepared for ongoing demands even after you believe your obligation has been met.
