A strange thing happened: a place remembered from years ago didn’t just survive, it got better. Humans almost never leave well enough alone, yet here we are.

I stopped into Hungry Howie’s Pizza & Subs with my son for a little nostalgia, and it completely exceeded our expectations. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza with a butter garlic crust along with the cinnamon bread, and both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and the butter garlic crust was the perfect finishing touch. The cinnamon bread was warm, soft, and easily one of the best desserts we’ve had from a pizza restaurant.

What impressed me just as much was the restaurant itself. The classic yellow tile interior looked fantastic and brought back great memories, but everything was spotless. In fact, it was cleaner than any other public restaurant I’ve visited in Pensacola. It’s obvious the staff takes real pride in keeping the place clean and serving quality food.

If you’re looking for great pizza, friendly service, and a restaurant that genuinely cares about cleanliness, I highly recommend stopping by Hungry Howie’s. We’ll definitely be back!

The Manager Chris and his staff are amazing. Chris has amazing customer service skills and offered to personally fix my order when I accidentally told them the wrong Item. The food was amazing also

Last ate at hungry howies 20 years ago when stationed at corry nas. Glad the pizza is still as good as my memory said it was. Also the staff helped my grandmother who had never eaten there and were very polite.

Just ordered some lunch, and didn’t order the roaches. Absolutely disgusting, had the nerve to ask if we wanted it replaced and another sent out. My husband insisted we give them another try since we had an issue last year.. and to no surprise they don’t have it together. 0 stars if I could. Disgusting.

Love this place. The food is always great. Was not a fan of the pasta, but everything else we have tried so far has been great. They are always super friendly. There was one guy there who needed to calm down he was making the pizzas and screaming at everyone the saying they was not doing their job and questioning why they were putting extra chicken on my salad when I in fact ordered the extra chicken on my salad to be put on the side so they knew what they were doing and clearing knew how to read the tickets and do the orders he was just being overbearing. And doing all that screaming in front of the guests, including the very guests whose order you are screaming about, is very unprofessional!
