We drove 3 hr. to your location just because we were craving for your foods. Too bad we couldn't come to south as often as we want due to distance drive or we would have your restaurant as weekend favorite breakfast place. We just made it to your restaurant before you guys close for the afternoon. ⏲️ ⏳️ 🕐

If possible and we also wish 🤞 🤞 🤞 you can open another location in Los Angeles anywhere in L.A. with easy parking, but definitely not in Down Town L.A. We definitely will bring friends and family to your restaurant every weekend to support your business 👍 👍 👍

Even though there is usually a queue when you arrive, the staff works so quickly to keep the line moving. On a weekday morning, we were lucky enough to meet the owner, Mr. Richard Walker! He personally walked down the queue to greet everyone, hand out menus, and give accurate wait times (pointing out where the 15-minute mark was on the line). He was actively working the floor alongside his staff to make sure guests were seated and served quickly.

The food is exceptional. The staff explained that almost everything is made fresh to order (with just a few pancakes pre-made so wait times aren't too long). The portions are super generous! The pancakes are incredible, the special butter is so delicious, and their signature syrup has a wonderfully unique, delicious taste.

We loved it so much that before heading to the airport on Sunday morning, we came back to grab takeout. They have a dedicated line for to-go orders, and our food was ready in just 10–15 minutes. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! The food was absolutely scrumptious. I had the Huevos Rancheros, and the tortilla was incredible; a very important component of the dish because if the tortilla isn't done right, it can throw off the entire meal. The fresh cilantro and red onion in the sauce gave it a delicious, fresh, savory flavor that really made it stand out.

The kids' pancake plate is huge and can easily be shared between two kids, which is great to know for future visits.

The coffee was the perfect way to start the morning, and the prices are very reasonable too.

If you're looking for a delicious breakfast, give this place a try. It's the perfect way to start your day!

The food here is truly memorable! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the portions are generous. We enjoyed the western omelette with cheese and hash browns which was plenty for both of us. The apple pancake, a classic and best-seller, was also delicious—a Dutch cake filled with apple and brown sugar that was both tasty and satisfying. The coffee is excellent and comes with a bottomless cup. Noe was our server, and he’s funny and attentive. Thanks so much! I’ll definitely recommend it.

Came here for Mother’s Day brunch and, predictably, the place was absolutely buzzing with families! Even with the holiday crowd, the vibe was great and the energy was high.

You can’t come to Richard Walker’s and not get the Dutch pancake. We went with the Apple Pancake (the fan favorite for a reason) and it was honestly out of this world. It’s got that perfect contrast with super fluffy in the middle but with those amazing crispy edges.

We also tried the Belgian waffle, which was exactly how it should be: crunchy on the outside and delicious throughout.

What really blew me away, though, was the service. Despite it being one of the busiest days of the year, the staff was absolutely superb fast, friendly, and totally on top of it. If you’re in Downtown San Diego, this is a must-visit for a solid, convenient breakfast. Highly recommend!
