I was visiting Reston for not the happiest of situations, but my stay in the AC Hotel went above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. The staff here made sure my every need was fulfilled, the rooms were immaculately clean and maintained, the front desk staff responsive and engaging. When I left an item in the room and they weren't able to locate it they replaced the item and shipped to my house in just a few days. I can't speak highly enough about this location, and as someone who spends a good amount of time in hotels for work it was a refreshing and appreciated experience!

Hotel is newer so it’s pretty clean and well kept so far. Unfortunately, they have horrible AC. There are two options : auto and off. The lowest AC setting is 66.5 degrees. It will actually shut off for a prolonged period and the room gets pretty hot at night. One of the days, we had an engineer come up to “reset” the AC in our room. On another night, around 12am or so it got pretty hot, the AC keeps shutting off and the room’s temperature keeps climbing closer to 70 degrees. Maybe it’s an energy efficiency thing, but it’s annoying especially for the price paid per night.

I sent a message through the app to request a box fan and texted the number that was provided the day we checked in. No one answered. I called the front desk…no answer. We had to turn the AC off then on again periodically to at least keep it from shutting off for too long. But it was a hit or miss. The next day, I received a message in the app asking if we still needed the fan and to “dial for the front desk next time if we needed anything”.

Location is great. Very close to public transportation. The hotel is nice, very clean. I've stayed twice. All the amenities are good quality. Staff is very nice.

I do wish I could plug my laptop into the TV. I switched to the correct channel/option, I plugged it to the box behind the TV with an HDMI cable but it didn't work. (It's not an issue with my laptop or HDMI cable. I've done this with multiple TVs and multiple hotels.)
