If you're anywhere near Mason's Marketplace, do yourself a favor and stop by.

First, it's dog-friendly, which immediately won us over. Even better, the staff struck that rare balance of being genuinely attentive without hovering. They asked thoughtful questions, made us feel welcome, and our server went the extra mile with beer recommendations that turned out to be spot on.

We tried the Kentucky Bourbon Ale and the pilsner. Both were excellent, but the Kentucky Bourbon Ale was on another level—easily the best bourbon ale I've ever tasted.

The food was just as impressive. We had the crab cakes and the Philly egg rolls, and both were outstanding. The sauces served with each dish absolutely sealed the deal.

The atmosphere is another highlight. The building has plenty of history, but it's been beautifully renovated. It keeps its old character while feeling fresh, vibrant, and full of new life.

Great food, fantastic beer, wonderful people, and a unique setting. We'll definitely be back.

One of the best, if not the best, restaurant I've ever eaten at. All the food is handmade/homemade from the freshest ingredients. Like the meat for their mouth watering burger coming from the farm down the road. The sauce to dip the most incredible crab loaded crab cakes. Every detail has been thought of and handled with love and care. We got to meet the owner who with their family restored the historic building with their bare hands. Truly a labor of love. The service is fantastic. We have to come back to try brunch, but dinner is phenomenal. Take the dessert home with you, trust me! Their market is also very cute and worth a browse. A must stop!

Food was greasy (got a to go-er and the bottom didn't have any paper to catch the grease in it, so the food just absorbed it all). I greeted someone at the desk, they looked up at me, stayed quiet, then looked back down completely ignoring me. I've eaten there in the past at the sit-down restaurant a few years ago and it was great, but I don't think I'll be back. I did still give it a 3 stars because the food flavors were nice.

Beautiful little country farm restaurant! Was a big surprise since I was originally just looking for a lunch place near the Heritage trail parking lot and thought this was a deli! Very courteous and attentive staff, but be aware that it can get very busy around lunch during the week. I ordered a Roast Beef sandwich special of the day ("half-pound of roast beef"!) and it had horseradish dressing and came with a pickle and chips. To be honest, my first bite was very dry, however it seemed that part didn't have much dressing and the rest was delicious and very good. I then tried a bite with their crunchy chips and a bite of pickle and OMG! it was AMAZING! I ate the whole sandwich despite originally planning to save half since I was going to bike lol. I'm looking forward to return to try their spicy chicken sandwich next time. 😃

Cozy, Friendly place to have a bite or meet a friend. People are lovely... Be it the staff or the owners. What a great find! Do not miss stopping in and getting a bite or stocking up on your preservatives or fresh bread.

Food was good. Waiter was good. All seemed well until we were asked to leave. The woman that greeted us upon arrival made sure to rush us out. We ate our food and were chatting for a few minutes afterwards. Two friends meeting for lunch who hadn’t seen each other in quite a while. I will also add that one of us had a very big life event and needed those couple of extra moments after finishing our meal to chat. The woman was more concerned with it being “busy”, but there was no one waiting for a table, all parties waiting were already seated. Since we declined dessert she decided it was time for us to go. We ended up standing outside at our cars, to finish up our conversation. We were very cold as it was also windy. Keep in mind if it is “busy” you will be rushed out. Or choose to order dessert and you won’t be asked to leave yet. That is the reason for the three star review.

Cozy little place next to a Heritage Trail trailhead. There's a small storefront where you can buy local goods from a variety of different vendors. Great atmosphere, great service, and the food was amazing! Very affordable too! Our group had 5 entrees, 2 coffees, & a mimosa, and it was barely over $100 after tax. Perfect place to have a delicious country fried steak over biscuits & gravy and go walk it off on the trail right after!

I visit this place a few times a year. Their fresh sandwiches, potato chips, potato salad, and macaroni salad are always a hit with me. Their desserts are also amazing. The best part is that you can easily walk off the food on the Heritage Trail nearby!

Their special was not listed on the food delivery service. I called and the owner delivered my order personally and would not take my tip. The food was delicious and arrived hot. Little did he know that I just had surgery and this was the comfort meal I needed. I would highly recommend.

Solid place to get food. I had the chicken and waffles with bacon. The waffles were cake like and delicious bacon made exactly the way that I like it chicken I’m a little picky on and would have preferred different breading but literally I’m just nitpicking at this point because it was really good. The service however, was absolutely exceptional! We arrived for breakfast an hour before service started, but we were not turned away. We were invited to go sit and eat order our food upfront, and they brought it out to us and allow us to have a very leisurely morning together. The atmosphere is perfect. You feel like you’re welcomed into someone’s home. It feels very lived in very quaint very cozy. I highly recommend.

Came here for a late lunch and wasn’t disappointed. It’s very cozy.

Our waiter was attentive, the food was delicious. We all got build your own sandwiches. We were all very satisfied! You will not leave hungry! Prices are very affordable also.

Loved this restaurant and market. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. She was very busy. We waited about five minutes to be seated. I had the grilled cheese and my companion had grandma's chicken wrap. Both were very good with large portions, so we ended up taking some home. The market that adjoins the restaurant was very cute and had lots of gift items to purchase. We had a nice time and will visit again.
