UPDATE: Velets eventually did come and helped me replace the entire headboard. Upon my research, this bed is also better than other similar models out there so I’ve updated this review from 1 to 3 stars. They definitely still have room for improvement on communication and customer service, but I must give a big shoutout to Bilal. He does delivery and assembly, and personally went out of his way to address the challenges I’ve stated below. He is amazing and is the key reason my experience with Velets has improved significantly. Thank you Bilal!

With the initial delivery of the bed frame, they did not come on our scheduled delivery date and I was not given a heads up. This was difficult to resolve. When the bed frame was delivered the next day, the delivery/assembly staff did do a good job. Kudos to him and I hope they treat him well as he seemed to be stress from the day’s workload.

Then, within 3 weeks of receiving this bed, the stitching on the headboard came apart even though I have taken great care of the bed and have not done anything to it. This is a major defect, and it’s very disappointing as I originally left a good review on their website and thought the quality was good, but besides the defect in stitching, the bouncle fabric also quickly showed itself to not be of good quality, easily collecting dust. I contacted Velets for a refund which they refused to honour. I tried my best to find a middle solution with them, asking for a partial credit back as my only other solution is to put a cover over it. The only offer they gave was to send a replacement head board. The fabric of this bed is the entire issue and so I do not want a replacement of the same material that I would also have to disassemble and reassemble myself. A bed frame cover is also not cheap, but if Velets cared about their customer service, I would have accepted a small credit, which would have been cheaper for them vs sending a replacement as well. Very disappointed.

If you order online since you live to far away from the store, I wouldn’t do it. It’s impossible to reach someone competent over the phone to help you, says they’re going to call back and OF COURSE they don’t. I sent an e-mail asking for details on my shipment since it was suppose to arrive 2 days ago and the shipment isn’t even done. Got a response to my e-mail and now I got 3 different e-mails saying the label is created but with 3 DIFFERENT tracking number????? Which one is good? I don’t know since nobody answers my freaking e-mail. Shitty service from both the company and courier. Paying 800$ for a bed and can’t even get a response, that’s amazing 👍🏻

I was given one price when I enquired through Facebook Marketplace and was asked to visit the store. However, when I got there, the price was much higher than what was originally quoted, and the delivery charge was also significantly increased. Felt quite disappointed by the inconsistency.

The store is legit, but different in person. it is a small space store, and they do carry everything that you see on their website/Kijiji. They gave a good service, quick online replies, fair pricing and also gave warranty.

For anyone driving there Google maps will give you the location of the building but you gotta drive to UNIT-9. Velets is not at the front of the building plaza but on the side of it. I uploaded an image to guide you. I would suggest the owners to correct that little google flaw.

Picked up this 31 inch table, service was excellent. The quality was shockingly good ten times better than ikea. It's a very small store with a few products but this tables quality and price is incredibly good!
