Dr. Pugh was so lovely with my sweet girl who is extremely anxious going to the vet. I did not feel rushed and felt my concerns were heard. The staff was lovely and I know they care very deeply for all the pets that walk through the door.

Very disappointing experience. We booked an 8:00 a.m. appointment several days in advance and planned our entire morning around it. We were even out of town and made the effort to come back early because our cat needed to have bloodwork done before going to work. We had called ahead, spoken with a staff member, explained that we needed to be at work by 9:00 a.m., and specifically asked about the process, timing, and whether there would be any additional fees. We were given detailed information over the phone and planned accordingly.
Then, less than 30 minutes before our appointment, we received a message asking us to change the appointment time and informing us that an additional examination was required, with an extra charge.
When I called to explain that we had been given different information and how disappointed I was, there was not even an apology. Instead, I was simply told that the information we had received was incorrect. I was also told that the bloodwork could not even be done at 8:00 and would have to be at 8:30, despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our schedule in advance.
What was most frustrating was the complete lack of consideration for our time and the stress this caused, especially for our cat, who was already prepared to leave the house early in the morning. Mistakes and miscommunication can happen, but taking responsibility and simply acknowledging the inconvenience would have made a huge difference.
We have been bringing both of our cats here since the beginning, but after this experience, we will be taking our pets elsewhere. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this clinic based on how this situation was handled.

I love how friendly and responsive the staff are! Always quick to answer my questions on the text thread. They’re also very understanding and helpful with my insurance claims

A very nice touch is the treat shelf, about 7 or 8 types in glass jars with clear labels for allergens!

My senior diabetic bestie was happy to hang out at the vet today. Our vet was very personable and got down on the floor with us. She told us she became a vet because of her own diabetic cat- this is a nice and comforting thing to hear and for her to share is nice. Joshua was a rockstar and noticed a billing mistake , Stephanie gave treats to Tigris and the vet tech went over everything with me patiently and slowly. I also forgot my wallet and half of the meds - she brought them to the car ! Honestly a very PAW-sitive visit . The only reason i take one star is because prices are VERY tough for most of us to maintain. It would be awesome if there were cheaper alternatives or some sort of low income discount for the visit fee if having to do other tests etc . We are now less stressed and feel comfortable to go to Westmount. Thanks everyone . Tigris will be looking forward to visiting again lol

We were pleased with Westmount Animal Clinic. Our senior cat expressed some issues over a long weekend, and our veterinary clinic was closed. We called in, and Josh was very welcoming and got us in that morning.

We met with Dr. Lucia Mentik, who was kind, thorough and provided us with a solid plan. She even made follow-up calls after each milestone and didn’t rush them.

The pricing seemed extremely fair for the services rendered.

The clinic is clean, in a great location, with plenty of free parking on the side of the building.
