UPDATE: As per his response, Brandon did reach out, and Service Excel is taking care of this for us at their expense. They contacted one of their reliable subcontractors and arranged for him to do the work on the original timeline. We are appreciative that Brandon stepped up and took accountability, and is doing his best to fix this.
I am going to leave this as a 1-star review for 2-reasons. First, is it should not have come to this, and Brandon admits that. Secondly, is that I know people often read one star reviews, and I want people to know that in the end the owner of Service Excel did his best to make this right. We are going to give them the opportunity to keep our business because of that.

I have used this company for over 5-years but they just completely let me down on a project. Had them out for the service on my heat pump, which they had originally installed for us, and told them we were undertaking a renovation project and needed to add a vent to a new room. They were told about this renovation project and our timelines before they dispatched their tech for the maintenance work. Their tech looked at our project and said they could do the work and accommodate our timeline, and that they would get an estimate over right away. The estimate never came and I followed up with a phone call, spoke to the dispatcher (who's name I remember but will not drop here), who said they would call me back. They never called back. I had to call back the next day and leave a message, the same person called me back and said they would have to get someone else to call me back. The next person called me back and said they could not get to the work now on the schedule we had originally discussed....still no estimate available, which I didn't care about as I really needed the work done. All they offered was to provide me the contact information for a different company. I am undertaking this renovation to add a room for my mother-in-law who has moved in to help with our family while my wife undergoes treatment for Stage 3 cancer, my daughter is currently sleeping in the dining room while we wait for this room to be completed. We were weeks out in front of scheduling this with this company and they completely dropped the ball. Right now, if I could give zero stars, I would, this is not a good way to treat a repeat customer.

We just moved into a new home and wanted the heat pump serviced to make sure everything was working well. Decided on ServiceXCEL because of all the good reviews online, and I'm happy we did!

Everyone I spoke with were professional and friendly. The tech showed up on time and explained everything in detail, and sent additional information for possible future services. Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely be using them again.

Service Excel did an excellent job installing our heat pump and furnace in 2025. From the beginning, the installation team was professional, efficient, and took the time to answer all of our questions. They made sure we had the right system for the size of our home and worked hard to complete the installation on time while ensuring all of the rebate paperwork was handled correctly.

We recently had our first annual service, and Matt was thorough, friendly, and made sure everything was running perfectly. He also took the time to explain how to use the system more efficiently, which we really appreciated.

From installation to ongoing service, the experience has been outstanding. We highly recommend Service Excel!

When our old equipment finally failed during the hottest day of June we contacted ServiceXcel to replace our ducted heat pump. Two days later Aric, Ivan and Kent arrived and cheerfully tackled a very challenging installation. The technicians were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The heat pump and air handler are of excellent quality and provide quiet efficient service. Both my wife and I were impressed by the quality of the workmanship and would not hesitate to recommend ServiceXcel.

I recently had Service XCEL install a ductless heat pump in my townhome, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The installation team, Ivan and Monroe were professional, polite, and did an excellent job. They were a pleasure to have in my home. I also want to give a special mention to the office staff- Janaya- the communication was exceptional.
She was professional, kind, and made the whole process run smoothly. I highly recommend them for their high quality work and great customer service
