I used Soft Touch twice in the past month. Both moves had complications. The management was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. They were patient and kind during an emotional time. The staff they sent to do the actual moving were amazing. I had a different team each time and all the men who moved my things were fast, efficient, polite and very easy to work with. They handled my things with care and moved it exactly where I needed it. This is an excellent company. Please use them for your next move.

I thought the price I paid for the service was very reasonable.

Soft Touch Review

We hired Soft Touch Moving in June 2025 to pack, move, and store our belongings in their “climate-controlled” facility for four months while our new home was being built.

About 4 hours into the re-delivery of our belongings by their crew, we discovered that much of our furniture and personal property which had already brought into our new home appeared to be covered in mold. The contamination affected our brand-new home and required professional remediation. As a result, we were displaced and forced to live in a hotel for 50 nights while the issue was addressed.

The owner, John Craft, acknowledged to us that our belongings had gotten wet and remained on their moving trucks for a period of time during the hot and humid month of June. Despite assurances from the company’s insurance carrier, we have received very little communication or resolution. More than seven months later, we still do not have our belongings and have had to retain legal counsel to pursue claims against both Soft Touch Moving and the insurance company.

This experience has been incredibly disruptive to our lives. Based on our experience, we would strongly caution others before trusting this company with their belongings.

These guys were great! Ed and Eddy showed up on time, were super friendly/positive about all the large items needed to be moved, and unpacked my Uhaul in 90min - they actually finished 30min quicker than I expected. Their prices were in line with the most affordable places in town and seemed to be the most friendly staff I talked with on the phone (which is why I chose them in the end). Would totally recommend, 10/10. Was nice to have movers who knew what they were doing, obviously had experience working together. **It seems like most of the 1star reviews here aren't even from their customers/maybe are bots? I duno, but if you read through the reviews you'll see they're "off" or just wrong.

Do not ever inquire about using them for a move! They simply go on and on about how horrible they are! And they only move you with two men and a truck! No Dolly at all! So shocking. And weird.

I ended up using a wonderful company instead!

We have used Soft Touch for 3 moves since August 1st. Jason was out lead on each on (the last one we specifically requested him). ALL of the guys were extremely professional, friendly and really treated our belongings and homes with the utmost care. Most recently we moved my elderly parents out of their home of 55 years. It was an emotional day for them and all the guys were so patient and kind to them. They also moved extremely fragile items, like an old grandfather clock---it arrived in the same condition it left.
We were pleased with all the crew members, but Jason as the lead made the moves that much better. Hopefully we are done with moves for a very very long time, but we wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and highly recommend!

It’s too bad we can’t give them six stars. Eddie Senior and Eddie Junior and Eli took an excellent care of us. They moved everything from our home which was kind of complicated. Put it in the truck drove it to a new location and put it all in storage for us. It involved a lot of organizing and wasn’t easy. And we did it on a hot day in July. The guys were just amazing and really cared about us and our stuff. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

We hired Soft Touch because of the in-person estimate process and the professionalism it signaled. We appreciated that the name didn’t include words like “hunk,” “junk,” or “college”—which, to us, implied a higher standard of care, experience, and accountability.

Ironically, what we experienced felt very much like the kind of “hunk/junk/college” move we were trying to avoid.

Truly the experience of packing was the worst. The team was young, inexperienced, and untrained. They didn't label most of what they packed and what they did was mislabeled: a bread machine marked as a deep fryer; an air compressor labeled as a spray painter.

Our fine art—an irreplaceable piece with sentimental and monetary value—was carried by the hanging string and placed on the truck unprotected.

TVs and computers were loaded upside down.

Sharp kitchen tools like a mandolin were packed alongside flip-flops.

Castor oil, cooking oil, liquid hand soap and mouthwash were dumped into boxes/spilled b/c of the lack of care.

Furniture and lamps were cracked.

Beyond the poor packing, inconsistent training and communication the worst part was the owners response to our concerns which conveyed sense of defensiveness and a desire to justify the poor performance surrounding the project. Excuses and abdication.

I had a fantastic moving experience! Hunter and Shane made moving less stressful and put a big smile on my face. They were informative and completed my move ahead of the planned time. My entire experience with Soft Touch Moving & Storage was wonderful starting with the initial phone call to set up a moving appointment, to communication prior to moving, and watching the Soft Touch truck drive away.

This company made packing our home and moving 9 hours as easy as possible. Communication was on point regarding arrival times and the employees packing and loading/unloading the truck were efficient, respectful of our home, careful with our things and just good people. We had a great experience with Soft Touch Moving and I would highly recommend them! Thank you John, Eric, Eddie Sr. and Eddie Jr.!
