I recently purchased several boxes of 700-grain .50 Beowulf ammunition from Steinel and was very impressed with their customer service. Their website was easy to navigate, and ordering was simple. My order was processed and shipped quickly.

When the package arrived, the box had broken open during transit and some cartridges were missing. I called Steinel and the owner answered right away. After explaining the situation, he immediately assured me they would make it right.

He asked for photos by email and responded the same day. He explained they would improve their packaging and promptly resent the missing ammunition.

Their team is knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly cares about their customers. The ammunition itself is excellent quality and performed flawlessly after shooting several boxes.

Steinel has earned me as a returning customer. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality ammunition and outstanding customer care.

Absolute scam of a business NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE!! Ordered ammo that was way too hot and would jam the firearm. Tried to get a refund but the owner was arguing about it saying there’s nothing wrong with their ammo even though every box I used jammed. I tried other ammunition and mags and those worked fine.

I ordered ammo a while back and was very happy with the performance. I ordered a second batch last week. The OWNER of the company called to let me know they were a box short. In a society of poor customer service this is top notch. Great ammo at a good price and great customer service. Give Steinel a try. You won't be disappointed.

They'll get the ammo to you eventually. You might have to send five emails, be told everything is sorted after waiting two years for ammo to ship. Only they have to sub out the specific ammo you asked for, for a different type. Get an Email from UPS saying the package label is shipped, wait another 77 business days before having to send another email. Then get a reply that someone made a mistake and that they will ship it that day. Then that day is actually two months later.

I did eventually get my ammo, and there was a brass shortage when I ordered with a disclaimer saying it would take I believe 6 months on the ammo type I ordered. However I did not wait 6 months, I waited 2 years 4 months and 2 days.

Honestly a fantastic company. I placed an order last Monday for a bag of 50 .50 Beowulf casings since they were one of the few places that had them. A week goes by and my tracking number just says "label created" so I email just asking what's going on and is there an issue? I live in anti gun state so I figured it was something with that. I promptly get a reply apologizing for a computer problem and my order never printed but showed it. They told me they'd get my order out and toss in a few extras for my trouble. The next day I get my order, the following I get another box and they didn't just toss a few in but another 50. Ian at Forgotten Weapons has praised this company so I figured I give them a shot. Unfortunately I can't get loaded ammo from them but I hand load 22-ish calibers so they'll have my future business.

A great company keeping history alive with high quality ammo. When every other company abandoned milsurps calibers, Steinel remained committed to the cause. They will always be my first choice when I'm shopping for 7.7X58 Japanese, 6.5X52 Carcano, .38/200, and .455 Webley.
