Our Association fired this company after just 3 years because of all the extra and unnecessary problems they caused our community. Their ignorance and negligence towards our community ended up incurring more problems than they helped, including missing money that went unaccounted for due to their poor accounting practices which resulted in special assessments to the owners, as well as a run-down, shoddy looking, poorly maintained community. Their errors and laziness ended up costing us more money in the long run. Their staff members come off as arrogant, unprofessional, and uneducated, and they clearly make things up on the fly as they go. Community Manager Erin H. is a shady, unethical, 2 faced, divisive liar. Her community "walk-arounds" and "inspections" were a joke and totally useless as she missed and/or turned a blind eye to over half of the things needing attention for nearly 3 years. Avoid this company at all costs.

Edit - in response to their claim that some "interactions with staff and leadership were hostile and inappropriate", this is a false statement with zero evidence to substantiate the claim. Yet it illustrates more deflection for the problems they caused us, and a weak attempt to save face, which is typical for them. If they did a "decent" job, they wouldn't have been fired. But they didn't even do a decent job. Had it been up to me, they would've been terminated within the first 6 months and the many problems they caused our community would've been avoided.

I’m really disappointed with how Compass Rose handles things at Santa Barbara at Laguna Lakes. They seem more interested in playing power games than actually helping neighbors. My family is being forced out over a tiny garage door issue that was fixed months ago, and instead of just talking to us like people, they hide behind "board rules" and refuse to even show us the meeting minutes or the vote. It’s impossible to get a straight answer or a fair hearing with these guys. If you’re looking for a management company that actually uses common sense and treats people with respect, look somewhere else.

Compass Rose not really impressed by them they always figure a way to add additional fees in and do half ass work hire the cheapest people to do it so that’s what kind of craftsmanship you get just another reason for them to make more money off us residents and when something does break down, it takes forever to get fixed they charge us as an HOA and there ain’t even a fence all the way around the grounds, but they consider that a gated community because there’s a bunch of trees on one side Willow Creek N Fort Myers

We finally received a response from this company after approximately five weeks, despite repeated outreach regarding an ongoing roof leak. During that time, interior damage continued to worsen. Their lack of urgency and follow-through reflects poorly on their ability to responsibly manage property issues. Unresponsive, inattentive, and not recommended.

My HOA was tired of falling thru the cracks of Large HOA firms having experienced horrible communications, billing issues and payment posting errors. We were ready for a change. When our contract was up, we found this new one in the DFW area at a very reasonable rate. We were apprehensive as a Transition from one company to another is never without a few hiccups, but ours was pretty smooth. We feel a smaller, boutique management company better fits our needs and look forward to a long relationship with Stephanie at Compass Rose.

Compass Rose took over our Community's Management about a year ago and I've seen an improvement with how things are run. I have various interactions with April our CAM and she is quick and thorough each time.

We’ve been very pleased with our condo association’s management company. They consistently go above and beyond to maintain the property and promptly address any concerns.
While some negative reviews may show isolated incidents, such as debris or shrubs that haven’t been replaced yet, it’s important to recognize the efforts already made. For example, the debris in one of the pictures has long been removed, and the shrubs are scheduled for replacement soon as part of the association's landscaping plan.
It’s clear that our management team and the board are dedicated to improving and maintaining the community, even when faced with challenges. We appreciate their hard work and proactive communication!
