We really enjoyed the dramatic ambiance of this restaurant. The space feels intimate, scenic, and inviting, with a presentation style that makes the dining experience feel special.

The Apollo fish appetizer was delicious, and we loved the way it was presented. The mixed kabab platter also had a very impressive hanging skewer presentation, which looked dramatic and memorable. However, the taste of the kababs did not feel as authentic as we expected, so that area could use some improvement.

We really enjoyed the authentic flavor of the fried rice, Grand Korma, and garlic naan. The Lychee Kiss martini was also commendable and nicely balanced.

The main area for improvement would be the service. For a modern bistro with such a beautiful atmosphere and strong food presentation, the service should feel more polished and attentive. I hope management focuses more on staff training so the overall experience matches the restaurant’s ambiance and concept.

Overall, it is a beautiful place with good food, creative presentation, and strong potential. I would recommend others give it a try.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands down the worst dining experience I've had in a long time.
​We specifically ordered a paneer appetizer, but we were served chicken instead. As a vegetarian, this is an absolute nightmare and completely unacceptable. When we told the staff about the mistake, they had absolutely no response. We literally had to cut the food open to prove it was meat, and instead of apologizing or explaining the mix-up, we were just met with silence.
​To make matters worse, our second appetizer was completely tasteless and overloaded with artificial food coloring. The most shocking part of the entire ordeal was the complete lack of accountability. Zero apologies. Zero reaction.
​We immediately canceled our main courses and left to eat at another restaurant. Avoid this place at all costs, especially if you are vegetarian or expect even basic customer service.

Food is really good and full of flavor you can tell they put effort into presentation and quality. It’s a modern Indian place, so dishes have a nice fusion touch which I liked.
Only downside is the pricing, it’s definitely on the higher side . With that, expectations also go up. Also, earlier their front porch view was amazing and honestly priceless. Now they’ve moved more toward the back, so that vibe is kind of missing.
Service is good, staff is polite, but I feel it can still improve a bit to match the premium feel they are going for.
Main reasons I keep going back are the ambiance, good food, and halal options. Overall a solid place for a nice dinner or special occasion.

I celebrated Galentine's Day with friends and had mixed experiences. The initial welcome was a bit cold, but our server Shiva was attentive and friendly. Service was slow despite being fairly busy, and some staff seemed disengaged. The food was enjoyable, with standout drinks and an outstanding gulab jamun dessert. However, the dress code discrepancy was noticeable. Overall, it's a solid option if you're nearby, but might not quite hit the fine dining mark.

Everything except the drinks were bad. I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the reviews and go. We had a kebab chicken platter and the none of the chicken had a taste, was undercooked and not crispy or smoky. For the mains, we had garlic naan and kofta curry. The naan was a tiny portion of 6 pieces, flat and not fluffy like a normal naan. The kofta base had a milk like consistency ?! and undercooked kofta, bad taste.

For the price, wasn’t worth it.

Please change the cook or management.

We went here for dinner with my husband and friends, expecting a fine dining experience, but it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. No one attended to our table for nearly 20 minutes after we were seated. One server silently dropped plates and water without a word, and another came to take our order without greeting or basic courtesy.

The appetizers — Pahadi Spiced Paneer Skewers and Jalfrezi — arrived cold. The paneer was dry and rock hard, and the Jalfrezi was soggy. When we questioned it, the staff said “that’s how it is here.” Only the Chilli Paneer Bites, which were sent as a replacement, were decent.

For mains, Dal Makhani was average, but Kofta Curry and Veggie Do Pyaza were watery and tasteless. The naan looked like leftover pieces, cut into small bits as if meant for children, and was completely dry and hard.

To make things worse, they mishandled our order for noodles and fried rice, kept changing their story, and argued when we tried to cancel.

Terrible service, untrained staff, and subpar food — nothing about this place reflects fine dining. Definitely not worth the money or time.

Honestly the food was good. I really liked the taste but It did give me and my friends food poisoning right after so I’m a little dicey on how I feel about the place. I liked the ambiance and staff they were v nice. I would recommend chilli bites and hot harmony. Def do not recommend the authentic fried rice. It was one of the worst fried rice I’ve tried. And everything else was really good.

Had an awesome time at Tantra in McKinney! The food was super flavorful and the desserts were amazing. It’s a little pricey, but honestly worth it—especially if you’re celebrating something. Chill vibes, great service, and totally a spot I’d go back to.
