The doctor was very precise in giving me my exam. He was kind and informative. He was all about having me understand any information that he gave me. I'm sorry I'm bad at remembering names, but the lady was so nice and her skill set was great! They accept IEHP. š

I had a mixed experience here. Initially, the associate assisting me was dismissive, spoke over me, and told me there was no supervisor available when I asked for one. I was also asked to step aside and ended up being helped only after other customers were assisted, which was frustrating.
However, a supervisor later stepped in and quickly resolved my issue by locating my lenses, which I appreciated.
Iām sharing this as feedback because the situation could have been handled much more professionally from the start.

I had an appointment at 9 am. I got there at 8:50 knowing Iād have to wait. At 9 am I went to the door. It was locked, lights were off. At 907 a gentleman that works there pulled in the parking lot and had to unlock the door. I went in and signed in. A woman that works there was behind the counter. She never acknowledged me once. I waited until 917, crossed my name off the sign in sheet and left. I called to tell them to cancel my appointment and told them the same thing I wrote here. They sent me a text message arguing about the door being unlocked at 9. So unprofessional.

Response to Crystal Dominguez:
The issue isnāt just what you say happened on the phone. The issue is that after you were told the clinic was still waiting for their system to show the approval, you went on TikTok and publicly shared the clinicās information while encouraging people to leave negative reviews. That resulted in a wave of one-star reviews from people who were never patients there.
Regardless of how frustrated you were, that kind of reaction puts a small medical office in a very difficult position. Clinics canāt simply hand out medical devices based on a verbal statement from an insurance representative. They have to follow the approval that appears in their own system to ensure the service will actually be paid for. Thatās standard protocol, not a personal attack on you or your son.
If IEHP told you something different, thatās an issue between you and the insurance provider. But directing a group of strangers online to damage a clinicās reputation over a processing delay isnāt a fair or reasonable response.
Everyone understands wanting your child to have his glasses quickly. But encouraging people who have never stepped foot in the clinic to leave one-star reviews only misleads the public and unfairly harms the business.

Amazing experience. The young ladies in the office were professional and helpful. The Dr who did the exam was very helpful and professional as well. We appreciate great service and people.
