We hired Jamie and his team for our basement underpinning project and had a great experience from start to finish. Jamie was professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The crew was hardworking and respectful throughout. They handled challenges quickly and effectively, keeping us informed along the way.

The end result is fantastic and a total game changer. Our basement is a completely transformed space that feels open and functional. The exceptional quality of the work is clear. Super happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Jamie and his team.

I cannot speak highly enough about The Foundation Kings. I connected with 5 different companies before landing on TFK. Jamie has great communication, is patient and very thorough. Jamie’s team is outstanding - kind, tidy, efficient and very hardworking. We were entirely hands-off meaning Jamie arranged everything, minimizing the impact on our lives. Our project was completed ahead of schedule! I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Jamie and his crew on another project.

What an amazing experience I've had with The Foundation Kings! After having some hits and misses on smaller renos, I was hesitant to take on such a big project and did alot of research before landing on them and so glad I did - these guys have restored my faith in the trades completely :)

From start to finish, the crew was incredibly organized, efficient, and professional - ensuring the quality of work would exceed expectations and be on schedule. They truly are craftsman who take pride in what they do and have amazing work ethic. Jamie was extremely communicative, answering all my questions promptly throughout the entire project and giving me heads up on any changes so there were no surprises. My basement underpinning went quickly and stress-free thanks to their diligence even throughout the holidays. I'm excited to be able to leverage the transformed and increased space in my basement. Thank you so much for all your help and taking care of everything that came up (these guys are real problem solvers and know how to make things happen for their clients!)

This project strengthened the foundation and increased functional floor space while adding so much value to my home:
✅ 8 ft ceilings
✅ New steel beam & fewer posts
✅ Waterproofing
✅ Heated & insulated floors
✅ Sump pump & new drains
✅ Backflow valve

I would highly recommend The Foundation Kings to family, friends, and anyone!!!

Foundation Kings did an outstanding job from start to finish. Jamie and Sergio were both amazing to work with—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to doing quality work. They took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and made sure everything was done properly. The workmanship was excellent, communication was clear throughout, and the job was completed efficiently. I highly recommend Foundation Kings, especially Jamie and Sergio, to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality foundation work.

From the moment I first met with Jamie (Owner of The Foundation Kings), I had a great feeling about working together. His estimate came in promptly and with very competitive pricing, but as an extra precaution, I had a good friend who is a contractor look things over prior to signing. Not only did he approve of the contract, he ended up hiring Jamie to do his own house! If that isn't a vote of confidence, I don't know what is.

I was extremely impressed throughout the process as Jamie and his crew always took the time to properly explain things and worked through all of the challenges that came up, including a brutal heat wave.

Access in our neighbourhood is notoriously difficult, and since we were also underpinning a semi-detached home, there was significant work with neighbours and permitting that Jamie took the time to help carefully and professionally prepare.

Overall, the result has been a phenomenal transformation of our home - we could not be happier with the result. It was an absolute pleasure interacting with each and every one of his crew members (we lived through the entire renovation) and they completed the work on time and on budget. I honestly cannot think of a single negative thing to say about these guys, they were professional, cordial, and very hardworking from the day they began demo to the beautifully poured slab (with radiant floor heating added).

Lastly, I'd like to add that he also went well above and beyond the scope of the underpinning work. He was always ready to answer my questions and provided solid recommendations for other trades to help us complete several additional upgrades at the same time (water service, HVAC, etc.)

I cannot recommend this company highly enough -some of the very best I have ever had work on and in my home.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with The Foundation Kings. From start to finish, the crew was incredibly hardworking, skilled, and dedicated to getting everything done right. Jamie was fantastic to work with - his communication kept us in the loop at every stage, and when surprises came up (as they often do with an old house), he and his team had creative solutions that actually made the end result better than what we originally planned. Our underpinning and addition project was finished on time and on budget, and the whole process felt smooth and stress-free thanks to their professionalism. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Foundation Kings to anyone needing underpinning or foundation work - you’ll be in great hands!
