I have been very disappointed with my experience trying to communicate with this office. My doctor specifically instructed me to send a message through MyChart when I needed my Zepbound prescription refilled, but every time I have reached out through the messaging system, I have been ignored.

This is not an issue with MyChart itself. I have contacted MyChart support twice this year to update my insurance information, and both times I received a response the next day. However, I have messaged my doctor three separate times this year and have not received a response on any of those occasions. Each time, I have ended up having to schedule an appointment just to get a response or discuss something that should have been handled through the messaging system.

Most recently, I requested a refill after my doctor told me to use MyChart for prescription requests. My insurance information was being updated at the time, but that has since been resolved, and I still have not received any response. This has been frustrating, especially when dealing with a medication that requires timely refills and prior authorization.

The doctors themselves have been helpful during appointments, but the lack of communication and follow-through through MyChart has been a major issue. Patients should not have to repeatedly schedule appointments just to get responses to messages they were specifically instructed to send.

It's been over a year trying to get a weight loss med for my husband because he has heart problems. They give us the run around and the Dr. Feeds us the same ole line every time we go. (I'll take care of it personally) Nobody follows through with anything I've had enough.

I’m sitting in the office currently. I made an appointment on the app this morning for 12:45. and ended up being 8 minutes late. I got here 5 minutes late and it took additional 3 minutes to get to check in. The guy at the front immediately tells me I can’t be seen and that there’s a note stating that since I was 8 minutes late I needed to reschedule for tomorrow. I asked him when did the late policy change to 5 minutes from 15. He said it’s always been 5. Mind you not once at this point has he checked with anyone. This man literally argued with me clear up until my 15 minutes were past. I asked him to see if I could be seen. He says no. So I go to book another appointment online and show him on the app that theres a 1:15 appt and a 1:45 appt is showing. ONLY then did he go talk to management and they allowed me to reschedule for 1:45. Would not allow me to schedule the 1:15. So now I’m stuck sitting here. If it weren’t for the fact that I’ve been sick for over a month, I’d walk out of here right now. Additionally, I looked online just now and the Trinity Health policy says 15 minutes.

My experience with Saint Francis Hospital’s administration has been overwhelmingly frustrating due to a combination of unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and poor patient care management.

One of the most glaring issues is the failure to answer phone calls. Trying to reach the administrative office or scheduling department is a nightmare—calls frequently go unanswered, voicemails are ignored, and when someone does pick up, they often provide conflicting or incorrect information.

Scheduling is another major problem. Patients are routinely misled about appointment times, with last-minute cancellations and reschedules being a common occurrence. Many find themselves waiting weeks or even months longer than expected, only to be told their appointments were never properly scheduled in the first place. This kind of disorganization is unacceptable, especially in healthcare, where timely treatment is critical.

Additionally, there is a noticeable lack of administrative ethics and professionalism. Staff members often display dismissive attitudes toward patients, and there seems to be little accountability for mistakes. Concerns raised by patients are brushed off rather than addressed.

Most troubling is the pattern of prejudice toward Black patients. There are repeated reports of Black individuals experiencing longer wait times, receiving dismissive treatment, or facing unnecessary hurdles when trying to schedule appointments or obtain necessary care. This is an alarming issue that suggests deeper systemic biases within the hospital’s administration.

Healthcare should be a place of compassion, efficiency, and equal treatment, but Saint Francis Hospital’s administration fails on all these fronts. If you are considering this facility for medical care, be prepared for unnecessary stress, delays, and a serious lack of professionalism. I strongly urge the administration to implement immediate reforms, including better training, improved communication, and a commitment to ethical, unbiased patient care.

I wish i could give 0 stars. Im sorry but i do not recommend this office to ANYONE! They dont listen at all and have you waiting around for information for days. I had to keep calling them for around a month just to get a prior authorization form sent to my insurance for my medication. And once again when it was time to refill i had to wait on them for over a week to give my insurance a call, and come to find out they never called. I told them its faster to just call my insurance because they weren’t receiving the emails or faxes, and i was told by the front desk “do you work at a doctors office to know the protocol” like excuse me. I ended up telling her to forget it and to get my records ready for pick up because i would be going elsewhere. They are very unprofessional!! If im telling you my insurance needs a phone call to get authorization then do your job! I will never come back here again! And if you have serious medical issues please dont come here or you will be waiting weeks before anything gets done.
