Hands-down one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Two professionals facilitated our free consultation--Brian Dutton and a neophyte. The less experienced gentleman was open, warm, and genuinely seemed to want to help, listen, and support OUR intentions. Mr. Dutton, however, was aggressive, condescending, and rude. We came in to the room with intentions to use their services to set up a will, but he turned it in to an all-out hard-sell in his attempts to talk us in to setting up a trust. He may be right. There's a lot we still don't know about the process, but when we responded with hesitation, he kept attempting to corner us with belittling rhetorical questions. He turned the same rude, belittling voice on his new colleague, too. When it became clear that they were more interested in "selling" us a trust than listening to our perspective, we cut the meeting short. If you want to be talked to like a misbehaving child, Brian Dutton is your guy. If you want legal professionals (although Mr. Dutton is not a lawyer) to actually listen and help, save yourself the time and discomfort of meeting with this guy, and look elsewhere.

I wish I had never gone there for a consultation. The prices I was quoted were high. At the end of the consultation, I told the lawyer I had an appointment with another law firm also. The lawyer then told me they could work with me on the price. I do not play pricing games and expect to have a firm honest quote upfront. Their price was significantly higher than the next law firm I went to. Therefore, I decided to go with the other law firm. Months later I am still receiving numerous phone calls hounding me trying to get me to go with them. I find this very unprofessional.
