Ordered two mediums . One with double cheese (4$ more) and one with extra cheese (2$ more). Did NOT get what I paid for. I know what double cheese is and this was not what I got. I called to inquire and the lady on the phone laughed at me and said "well, cheese melts.... So that's why it seems like it's not double cheese"
If I could figure a way to add a pic I took ..I think anybody would agree.

Edit: UPDATE. I am sad to say but I cannot recommend this franchise as a whole. I had posted an enthusiastic review based on a positive experience, but since then I have had nothing but terrible service from Double Pizza. It's a shame.

We placed a call to order at 2PM. We were on hold until 2:10 PM. We ordered and completed the order at 2:15PM. It is now 3:41 PM after calling back and getting an absolutely ridiculous offer from management for 25% off. We waited two hours at this point. Forget these jokers they don't know how to run a pizza place if they waste your time forgetting your order for two hours and offer you five dollars for your time.

In addition these scumbags charge hidden fees for delivery that don't even go to the delivery people, it's a hidden service charge that they even increased from 1 dollar to 1.50. It's hidden on their menu in fine print, but not mentioned anywhere at the point of sale. Yes, this is an illegal charge and it is mislabelled.
For all the pretense about being a pro-Quebec business, the management of this place is crooked as heck. AVOID and order from Zappy's instead. Good people, good business. Trustworthy.

I like their pizza lot more than Pizza Pizza's, I recommend ordering a well done thick crust as the basis of your pizza's here. It will remind you of back when Pizza Hut served edible pizza.

Pizza Pizza and Double Pizza compete close to each other on Wellington. While the former definitely has better ambiance and calzones/jalapeno poppers and more online Pizza options, Double Pizza's pizza is easily ten times better. The chicken is also real good and they tried tacos for a bit and they were good too.

The fluorescent ambiance isn't great and the staff are tough guys, but that's how I like my Pizza places. Not with flat screens paid for by cheaply made pizza. People talking about bad customer service experiences haven't been to Pizza Pizza quite enough. I've been credited with like sixty dollars worth of Pizza Pizza this year because of bad customer service (not their delivery guy, their delivery guy is awesome) and I still don't bother with them anymore. I stick to Double Pizza.

Okay but what about your hidden delivery fees? They're nowhere on the website when you order online and then you discover them and they don't even go to your delivery person. It's a corporate policy at fault here, and it applies to all online deliveries.

We ordered a submarine Deluxe that cost a total of 40.78$ there were barely any topping. Look at picture I will be going there in the next 2 days to talk to the manager and complain to get some kind of compensation or reimbursement.

I went there with my husband. We ordered two small vegetarian pizza (one thin crust and one regular), both tasted very good,..very friendly people ... and the owner stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with the food and the service. Definitely, we will go there again

I imagine that I should have read these reviews before I decided to order. Unfortunately it seems not much has changed. If I could give zero stars I would. Here is how it went for me this evening.

5:35pm called and placed a 31$ order. Friend were due to arrive at 6pm.
I figured the timing would be good.

6:30pm called back - saying its been almost an hour, is it on its way? They said it should be, and that
when I got the pizza to call them and get and I would get a rebate. They asked me to hold so they
could transfer me to a supervision but the line went dead after 3minutes.

6:40pm Called back - Was told it should be right there, and again to call them when it arrived for a
discount.

6:55pm (YES 1 hour and 20muntes after ordering) With hungry guests in my home, I called to alert them that I was cancelling my order that I would get my food elsewhere. To my great surprise the guy on the phone really did not seem to care. He said, ok its cancelled, bye...

6:57pm - Leave my home to walk 5minutes to a local pizza spot - order and wait 15minutes while they make my order from scratch.

7:20pm Make it home with 2Large Pizzas, 1fry, 3pepsi from the locally owned pizza place (same cost as 2 large doublepizza)
AND WHAT DO I SEE? As I approach my door? The DOUBLEPIZZA delivery guy ringing my bell!
This is almost 2 hours after I placed the initial.

I politely told the delivery driver that I cancelled that order a long time ago.
He asked when?
I pointed to my new pizzas and told him 'I cancelled before I got dressed, and left my house to go order and wait for these to be cooked and then walked back - about 25-30minutes ago."
I actually kind of felt bad for him as he seems to be working for a pretty disorganized business. He didnt even try to defend himself, he just turned around and left.
Anyhow, atleast it made for a funny story and everyone at my place laughed about how ridiculous it is to send out a pizza almost 2hours after it has been ordered.
Needless to say I will not waste anymore time with them.

(by the way did I tell you that I live about a 12 minute walk from the place and thought it would be fast because of that! Boy was I wrong - should have read these reviews first.)
