Dr. Harkins saved my life. I had a hernia for nearly 10 years that none of the surgeons I talked to would treat because of my weight. When the hernia strangulated, Dr. Harkins got the surgery done right away with no complications and I am so grateful for the care I received at the hospital.

Dr. Harkins is the Best!

On a Thursday afternoon a few weeks ago, I had the urgent need for emergency surgery. I got to the ER mid-afternoon, and they called in Dr. Harkins, who performed the necessary surgery about 10PM using the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, on which he is a world-renowned expert.

I saw him the next morning and was discharged after lunch that same day.

I cannot say enough about how easy the recovery for this surgery has been and I am deeply grateful for Dr. Harkins taking care of me both immediately and with great kindness.

I don't think you will find a better surgeon anywhere!

Dr. Harkins is the best kept secret in Tomball!!! Outstanding Physician who performs excellent work! I experienced minimal discomfort following the repair of three hernias and my recovery has gone very well. His staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Highly recommend him for hernia repair.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Harkins, we have been very happy with the level of care provided. Very easy to get in touch with his office, the staff is so helpful, getting us whatever we needed quickly as possible. My husband needed a port quickly to be able to start chemo in a few weeks and they got him on the schedule 2 days later. I also had no issues at all with getting the disability forms filled out which is a relief as dealing with cancer is complicated and stressful enough.
