​I’ve worked with Kevin (Mr. Basement) for two different projects at my home and he’s been great. He helped fix an emergency flood in my basement, and later on, he did the renovation to turn the basement into a legal second unit.
​He handled all the coordination with the city, designer and other contractors. Everything was done right—all the inspections passed the first time. The quality is high and his costs are transparent with no hidden fees. If you need someone for a renovation or an emergency, Kevin is a solid choice.

I consider myself a traditional person. I usually read reviews, but rarely take the time to write one. This experience, however, is worth sharing.
I was introduced to Kevin at Mr. Basement through a friend. Now retired, I wanted to give our bathroom a refined new look. With some knowledge of the industry, I pay close attention to both craftsmanship and process. I was genuinely impressed by their depth of experience and professionalism. Every detail of the bathroom was executed to an impeccable standard.

We highly recommend Kevin/ Mr. Basement, we were fortunate to meet Kevin when he was working on one of our neighbour’s homes. Kevin and his team renovated two of our washrooms and even fixed some errors of another contractor who had done some work for us. Kevin is very experienced, detailed orientated, honest and gives great recommendations on options, materials and places to purchase fixtures. We’ve already recommended Kevin to all our friends that have seen his work at our place.
