We rented a small second-floor unit for two years and did not open it in that timeframe.

When we returned to unload the unit, our stuff was virtually spotless and in identical shape after two years of storage.

Carla was the absolute best any time we had to call or inquire about anything, and I would challenge you to find better storage for a better price anywhere near HRM!

I’ve rented here multiple times and have always had a great experience. The facility is clean, secure, and very well maintained. The staff are exceptionally kind, respectful, and always welcoming - which truly makes a difference.

I’ve never had a single issue during any of my rentals, and I’ve always felt comfortable and confident leaving my belongings here. It’s clear they take pride in both the space and the way they treat people.

Highly recommend Windmill U-Store It if you’re looking for a reliable, safe, and genuinely friendly storage facility.

I moved my parents belongings into storage sometime in 2014 when they moved out of province and it’s been there ever since. Recently I flew back to deal with all of there belongings and fully expected the locker to be disgusting, mice bugs and so on. But I was pleasantly surprised it was like all their belongings were frozen in time, there seems to be no rodent activity. My mom worked in storage for many years I know how it goes when things sit but this facility is so clean I am so happy we chose to store with them. Highly recommend. Carla and her team have been so kind, answering all my questions and being available when I needed to give someone access to my locker.

Cathy walked me through, showed me the unit before purchase, and was super helpful explaining payment options and how everything worked. Prices are also good. Buildings are secure, would recommend storing here.

Best storage locker rental business in HRM. Independently owned and operated, the facility is spotlessly clean and Carla W. is incredibly helpful.
