Not impressed with the call centre that called us after we completed an online form. He was very rude and very insistent/demanding “a credit card to secure the last 5x10 unit”. When I said “NO, I don’t provide CC information over the phone” he went on a long speech on how they don’t store information and that we would get 2 emails from them and the store manager would call us… blah, blah, blah. I had to cut him off because of how rude and insistent he was for a CC #. While on the phone with the Call Centre we actually received a wonderful Voicemail message from Gavin at the Bedford Store inviting us to come view a unit and offered other services (packing and moving supplies) as well. My recommendation is for Access Storage STOP using a “foreign” call centre and have nice local staff call their customers.

Awesome service. Saved my butt in a big time way when I needed last minute mid-winter storage for a motorbike. And the 50% off for 12 weeks just makes it better. The service from the assistant manager at the Bedford location was great; he was super helpful and informative. I definitely feel better knowing that my belongings are safe.

Very convenient access; very friendly staff. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is that I was told it was possible to cancel early and get a partial refund for any complete week (not days) unused. The "normal" billing is based on 4 weeks. After using the storage for 8 weeks, I asked for a 2 week extension but vacated the unit 4 days later. When I asked about the refund for the final week, I was told that "a request for that refund has to be put in to (some office)" and I never got that refund.

Smooth move in/ move out. Kind and respectful staff. Great location, close to Walmart, Staples and Canadian Tire. Staff recommended smaller unit which could be utilized efficiently and saved me some money. Easy and straight forward entry and exit to premises. Transporting items from vehicle to unit could have been better if “appliance dolly” was provided but they do have a cart dolly available. I would recommend this storage facility.

I'm beyond impressed with Access Storage! I recently rented a 5x5 unit on the 2nd floor, and the experience was seamless. Here's what stood out:

- Cleanliness: The unit and the entire facility were spotless. I was really impressed!
- Security: I felt confident that my belongings were safe with their top-notch security measures.

Great place overall, some units are smaller than listed size, but you can ask for a ruler to verify or request a different unit.

This is my first time using Access Storage's units. Needed somewhere to store my miata for the winter. They had a great deal they were offering; which is why I picked them; and they were able to get me another offer on top of the other offer. Love the fact they are 24/7. Another big bonus that it is heated. Their staff are super helpful, friendly and explained everything out really well. I'll definitely be renting from them again in the future! Highly recommend!

Rented storage for a large unit for four months. Their lock repeatedly jams and left me on several occasions trying to open door for 30 minutes. Location to access the storage units is unlevel and you have to exert much effort to get your stuff on the trolley into the unit. Charged me for an extra month when I asked for one week prorated since they decided to bill before the end of the month. Do not recommend, please choose another storage facility.

SUPER SERVICE and this is why: After renting a space sight unseen moving from Quebec to Nova Scotia, we discovered when we arrived on site that the unit rented over the phone was not up to par, further more it was Victoria day and the offices were closed. Well, the manager of the Bedford facility, on his day off, came to check the site in Dartmouth and managed to provide us with a more suitable unit for my needs at another location. They went above and beyond to help us out on a holiday. On site, they were very accommodating and even offered to help me load a few boxes in my vehicle.
Very nice people and they offered great customer service.
Thank you to the whole staff for your much appreciated help.

I just want to say that the people work at the storage unit place have customer service down to a science. I’ve never used storage unit before, they walked me through the whole process easy. every time I went into pick up at wrapping paper and boxes. They were so helpful in every way.
