I've been with Lake Street Mini Storage for several years. Longer then I had anticipated. I've had no security issues in regards to my property's safety. This is a respectful company. The employee's in the office have been professional and kind. I highly recommend this storage facility.

Lake Street Mini Storage is a decent option if you need something straightforward and local. The facility is generally clean and the location is convenient, which makes quick drop‑offs pretty easy. Staff interactions were fine—nothing exceptional, but polite and helpful enough when needed.

That said, a few things kept the experience from being great. The units feel a bit dated, and some areas could use better lighting and maintenance. Pricing is fair for the area, but not the best value considering the condition of the space. Security is adequate, though not as robust as some newer facilities.

Overall, it gets the job done, but there’s room for improvement. Good for short‑term or simple storage needs, but not the most premium option in town.

Lake Street Mini Storage is by far the best storage unit facility that I’ve used over the last 10 years. The hours of operation and digital gate access is great and I’ve never experienced any failures in getting access. My experience with staff has been cordial and very respectful. I also appreciate that with having winter access to an outdoor unit, the snow is ploughed very quickly after snow storms.

We have always found the prices at Lakestreet Storage to be highly competitive. The location is very convenient for us and the staff are helpful. We have been very pleased that the units are secure, clean and very dry. This is the third time we have rented units at Lakestreet Storage and it will not be the last. Our current unit is D24.

We have had good service with Lake Street Mini Storage. We had a small leak in our unit after the winter melt and they were able to move to another same size unit close but the same day with minimal disruption. None of our good were affected. C11

my experiences haven't been too positive. I feel your present office hours do not accommodate your average working person (8am to 4:30pm or 8:30 to 5pm and so on. Can't in most cases get there before 5pm. No notification your closed on Saturday or when an employee takes a day off and the office is closed I could go on but i won't. See you next time if i can, to pay the rent by 5pm

My family first used Lake Street when we moved to the area in 2007 where we kept our unit to 2013. In 2021 when I wanted to get a unit, they were my first and only choice based on that excellent earlier experience. They are reliable and safe. I wish we still had the light in the unit in case I have to come by in later hours during the Fall/Winter but otherwise everything else is still top notch.

The staff are courteous & helpful, and the units are immaculate. The security is also very tight, & I have never worried about the safety of my items. My experience has been very positive. The people in the office were first rate and very professional and they send me an email every month thanking me for my automatic payment. I haven't been to my locker in a couple of months but find it very adequate for my storage usage.
