I had a great experience at this hitch shop. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. I really appreciated that they never tried to upsell me or pressure me into buying anything I didn't need. They completed the work while I waited, charged a very reasonable price, and the whole process was quick and hassle-free. They got the job done when Uhaul couldn’t. For a pretty penny more, but it actually got done so I can’t complain too much (though I will a bit). The staff I dealt with was great, front desk and technicians.

My vehicle had a factory hitch cutout already in the bumper after the previous owner removed the hitch for some reason, and I figured the new one would fit there nicely. It did not. The hitch installed down below the bumper They didn’t say anything about it until I asked when I picked up my vehicle. It would have been nice if they had mentioned this prior to doing the work and at least gave me an option to source an OEM hitch. It’s mostly just a cosmetic issue, but for the price it’s a bit annoying.

I rarely make reviews however this past weekend I had the pleasure of visiting the Hitch Shop. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to fit me into their schedule, were very fast and so helpful that I ended up leaving with a new bike rack as well. Regarding the bike rack, I was actually looking at a much more expensive model, when the salesperson pointed me in another direction and found me the perfect rack to work with my, and my families, riding. I’m looking forward to adding another hitch to our second vehicle soon. Thank you Hitch Shop.

Went in today with my old bike rack, one of my kids lost the "bolt" that attaches it to my SUV. As soon as I was in the store a nice young man came over and asked what I needed a hand with. I explained what I was looking for, and he gave me a few options and some solid advice that the best way to have the rack securely attached is with the bolt. Went into the back and came out with a bolt and the appropriate washers for it, didn't charge me for it. You don't get service like that very often in Calgary, I was very impressed. They had originally installed my trailer brake a number of years ago and I had been impressed with them back then, nice to see that the great service is still there!
