I have been taking cats - my cats and rescue cats - to Bytown for 27 years. Together we've saved lives and lost lives, more saved than lost, treated emergencies and long term conditions, and there has never once been a time when the veterinarians or staff were less than professional, willing to give their all for the good of the cat. I recommend them to everyone who needs a vet for their cat.

Dr. Nicholson at the Bytown Cat Hospital (formerly with the Merivale Cat Hospital) has been my cat's vet for over 10 years. I've always been pleased with her professionalism, attitude and thoroughness. The staff is also quite knowledgeable and friendly and they are also great with follow ups and reminders. My cat received amazing pre- and post-op care when she had surgery last year; couldn't ask for more!

I have a cat spending hundreds to thousands over there. After some exotic tests, only found out that they were using the wrong document. No apology, no refunding. They keep recommending expensive procedures, of course, none of them work.

Stay away from them!!!
