Absolutely the worst service in the city. I strongly recommend staying away from this company.

I booked them to move my container and made arrangements based on their confirmation. I hired 5 people to help move my belongings, only for this company to cancel without informing me. They then rescheduled me for another day and promised they would show up.

Trusting their word, I once again hired 5 people, rented a U-Haul trailer, and started moving my belongings to the new location. Then, unbelievably, they cancelled again.

Because of their repeated cancellations and complete lack of consideration for their customers, I have suffered significant unnecessary expenses, wasted time, and a tremendous amount of stress. This was not a minor inconvenience—it disrupted my entire move and caused me real financial loss.

I am now taking legal action to recover the expenses I incurred as a result of their actions.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, please think twice before using this company. I would not recommend them to anyone. In my experience, their communication, reliability, and customer service were extremely disappointing.

The manager is David Tayer, his behaviour was so un-profesional and rude. He did not care about the issue I have faced because of them.

About an hour later, I received a call from their senior manager, Peter Grewal. Unfortunately, his approach made an already frustrating situation even worse. As a senior manager, I expected him to listen to my concerns, communicate respectfully, and make a genuine effort to resolve the issue. Instead, I found his manner dismissive and unprofessional, and he repeatedly made it clear that they could not do anything to help.

I was extremely disappointed by the way my concerns were handled. In my opinion, this is not the level of customer service or professionalism I would expect from someone in a senior management position. Rather than restoring my confidence in the company, the conversation reminded me why I should not have trusted this company again.

Overall, the poor service combined with the way my complaint was handled has left me extremely disappointed with my experience.

Exceptional service and communication from John. Thanks John for being so flexible when I did not think the 10ft container was going to be large enough and you swapped it out for the 20ft container with no hesitation. Muchly appreciated it all. Highly recommend Secure Rite for your next move.

Fantastic group of people to work with regarding their sea cans! I'm pleased that my belongings are being stored there. They are a better price than all the storage units that I called around to.

Excellent customer service from beginning to end!

Emilee showed me around the yard and worked with me to find another option that ended up being a better fit for what we needed. She was very patient with communications within the various departments at my place of employment.

Then when it came to delivery, Andrew exceeded all expectations!

The clearance space between the two containers, where ours needed to be placed, was extremely limited. We discussed various options, including having the container returned to Secure Rite or temporarily placed in the parking lot while we arranged for the other containers to be moved, which would have been costly and time consuming. However, Andrew was determined to find a solution for us. He went above and beyond to ensure the container was placed exactly where we needed it and didn’t leave until it was positioned perfectly.

Thank you for such exceptional customer service!

We did a move to the coast, the entire process was fantastic. Our container had to be stored for a couple of weeks before we could arrange unloading on the other end and the drivers in Kelowna/Surrey were perfect at what they did, being gentle with loading/unloading. From the first phone call, all staff provided awesome customer service from start to finish.

Secure-Rite is the place to go for your storage needs. The staff are very friendly and most helpful to make sure you get exactly what you need. They work with you to suit "your" needs. The front desk staff (Martina) always had a welcoming smile, was most helpful and always had a cheery disposition. The yard crew (bent over backwards) at short notice. A huge thank you to our amazing delivery driver Andrew who is prompt, efficient and super friendly. And all at a very affordable and reasonable cost. Thank you one and all for great affordable service. We highly recommend Secure-Rite,

We had a 20' container delivered by Don Birchard and the experience was incredible. Don placed the container in a very tight spot with nothing but patience and a smile. Great service. Thank you.

2020 - We were extremely pleased with the teams and service in both Calgary and Kelowna. All deliveries and pickups went smoothly and access to the container during storage was easy. They run a great operation.

2025 - We worked with Secure-Rite again, this time using their Kelowna modification services to create us a custom container. The project was well managed, on-time and the end product is exactly what we wanted.

I definitely recommend Secure-Rite, from the Surrey (Vancouver) office when booking the bins then arranging drop off from Kelowna office was very easy & they went out of the way to make sure we were satisfied. Had same driver deliver (Jordan) & pick up of the 2 bins and was extremely friendly & efficient.

I must say, this is a company that just does it right! I called in to get some information about purchasing a shipping container and was greeted by the friendly voice of Tawnya who explained everything I needed to know and even invited me in to come check out what they had. I ended up calling back the next day and Tawnya wasn't in or available but the next friendly voice was Martina who gladly was willing to help in anyway she could. Sent a driver down to make sure we could get the container into our yard. The driver (didn't catch his name) was equally as helpful and twice as helpful getting the container into such a tight spot and trust me it was tight but he was determined to make it happen. Thank you.
I wouldn't purchase/rent a container again from anywhere but Secure-Rite Kelowna.
I must also mention that when I went in to pay for the container, every single person in that office made sure to be a part of that conversation even though they weren't part of the transaction. When a business feels friendly, a customer knows they've made the right choice. Keep the great work guys. I'll be back.

A special thank you to Martina for just making the process simple. You rock!
