everything good about this place except this grown man working there name lex giving free food out to people without getting asked and then later uses it against us to give him a tip, tried to give him a tip before and he said “cmon make that’s all you gonna give me” and used the free food that we did not ask for against me and my friends and gave us a whole lecture about tipping, i can see why you would be mad if a bunch of kids came in without tipping but no way you that desperate you gotta give a lecture about tipping. otherwise food is great sound system got better and andrew deserves a raise for his kindness and service.

would i come back? probably not for a while if this lex guy gonna guilt trip kids to tip him

I’ve been a loyal customer of Buffalo Wild Wings at this location for years and never had an issue before. Whenever I requested a specific table, the staff was always accommodating and set it up right away. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different.

I came in with a party of five, including two children, and the table we were given had water spilled underneath it and even on the chairs. When we asked to move, we were first offered a table in the middle of the restaurant. After noticing an available booth, I politely asked if we could sit there instead.

As we were walking over, another server stopped us and said we couldn’t sit there because that side of the restaurant was “only for his customers.” At that moment, I honestly couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It felt unwelcoming, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary.

After that interaction, I decided to cancel our order and leave. With so many excellent restaurants in Stamford, we went to Barcelona Wine Bar instead, where the service was outstanding, we were seated immediately, and treated with respect.

Will I ever return to Buffalo Wild Wings after this experience? Absolutely not.

The slowest service ever. Food was ok but the service was so bad. Way too slow 🐌. Took like 25 mins to get a mozzarella sticks order.

Overall a good place for chicken wings. I learned a long time ago that you go to Buffalo Wild Wings mostly for wings and potato wedges, maybe beer too. Service is usually average, but sometimes much better. Never crowded during the day, for the most part, which is good. I like chicken wings a lot so I am kind of biased though.
