Tara has been a nurse practitioner since 2003 and joined Cullman Dermatology Clinic in 2007. She previously practiced as a dietitian and then as a nurse practitioner in Orthopedics and Family Medicine. Tara and her husband reside in Cullman with their children. She enjoys spending time with family, relaxing at the lake, and church activities.

True Dermatology primarily focuses on skin cancer surgery, reconstruction, prevention, as well as medical dermatology. Dr. Raj Patel is a double board certified, fellowship-trained Moh’s micrographic surgeon with the highest level of training in skin surgery. He completed his Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship and dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
