My approach to therapy includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Psychoeducation, as well as elements of art and narrative therapies. I’m equipped to treat a wide range of mental health concerns, but I specialize in depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, borderline personality disorder, grief and loss, and self-harming behaviors.

I believe that patient care begins with listening and trying to understand patients and their concerns. Once we understand each other, we can come up with the best treatment plan for each person by working together.

I enjoy the small town atmosphere. Practicing medicine in a smaller community allows for the opportunity to connect with each patient and helps establish strong patient/provider relationships.

I think the video covers this pretty well. But overall, I really appreciate a whole body approach to care with appreciation to how all the systems and aspects of a person are related. I also see my role as giving the patient all the information they need to make the best medical choices for their own individual health.
