I am a Family Nurse Practitioner. My clinical interests are health promotion and disease prevention for patients of all ages, including infants, adolescents, adults, and seniors. I am passionate about primary and preventive health, mental health, women's health and the management of chronic conditions such as heart disease and diabetes.

My main areas of clinical interest include family medicine, emergency medicine, and women's health. I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii and moved to Fort Collins when I was 11, where I completed middle school and high school.

I focus on preventive medicine, sports medicine, and emergency medicine. Prior to my medical career, I served as a U.S. Navy Corpsman for five years.

I am focused on family medicine and have clinical interests in well-person care, chronic disease management and newborn and well-childcare. I began practicing in 1988.

I enjoy building strong relationships with my patients and their families, from childhood through hospice. I strive to maximize everyone’s quality of life and to assist in achieving my patient’s individualized health care goals.

My goal is to provide individuals with the education and support to create and meet their health goals. I hope to encourage my patients to take an active role in their healthcare through shared decision-making with an emphasis in preventative healthcare.

My practice philosophy is to focus on the whole person and look at ways to optimize health and wellness through diet and exercise and sleep and mental health rather than relying only on medications to relive symptoms. I am passionate about lifestyle medicine and plant-based nutrition and incorporate those perspectives into all patient interactions.
