Rural healthcare is important because you can deliver care to the people in the closely, and on more of a personal level because most of the people you see from day to day you either know or they will know someone in your family or in your group. That makes it very special and personal.

I knew there was a big need here in Perryville. It was my hometown and I still had family here. My goal when I came back was to establish a stable primary care group that we could grow and develop with the community as the population grew, and make sure that we were providing quality medical services to Perry County.
