Sometimes all people need is to be heard.

I would say the best skill a primary care provider could have is being somebody who's caring, compassionate and having the ability to listen. I think the main thing in primary care a lot of times is people just wanting to feel heard, that their problems matter and that somebody wants to do something and help them get better.
