Dr. Ong provides comprehensive kidney care and has special interests in acute and chronic renal failure and electrolyte disorders. Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Ong enjoys bicycling and music.

I joined medicine to help patients turn medical advice into actions that improve their health. I aim to support them through big life changes in a healthy manner. I specialize in kidney health, focusing on chronic kidney disease and high blood pressure. I strive to be a caring and skilled partner for my patients.

Human beings are complex and their health is equally so. I enjoy working with patients to unravel their health issues to ease their suffering especially when it involves looking beyond a simple solution. I believe both patient and physician must work together to achieve this goal.

It's a privilege and extremely rewarding to help patients breathe and sleep better. I particularly enjoy the range of ages, the long term relationships and the variety of pulmonary and sleep disorders I have the opportunity to treat.

Dr. Pereira also sees patients at our Everett location. I enjoy partnering with patients to build a care plan that is streamlined and thorough. I want people to understand their healthcare options and help them make informed decisions. I try to make sure all their questions are answered and addressed.

My goal is first to provide up to date medical information to support and encourage our patients as they make medical decisions and second to assist patients in meeting their health and wellness goals.

The trust relationship between a provider and a patient is really important to me. Seeing that relationship through as the years progress, is an aspect of medicine I can achieve as an internist. I find my daily encounters with my patients rewarding. I want my patients to feel empowered about their health.

I enjoy working in the Anticoagulation Clinic because of the diversity of patients and individual plans based on their unique clinical needs. By providing great care and understanding the unique patient's needs, I find it rewarding to know that I have made a positive impact.
