I was motivated to become a doctor because I had a strong interest in math and science. Later, I focused on internal medicine because I could cultivate a long-term relationship with my patients and care for them over their lifetime. I think the best part of being a physician is seeing my patients reach their goals and enjoy better health.

I love primary care because I get to treat patients holistically. I also like to talk with my patients about preventive care and what it means to live a healthy lifestyle. Building relationships with my patients is something that is really unique to this specialty. I enjoy getting to know patients, hearing their stories and even meeting their families.
