I store my van in their yard. It was good to park there until recently. Someone got into the yard and tried to break into my van. I know this because I saw a pry mark on my back doors. I had washed and waxed my van prior to storage and there were no marks on the door. I let the attendant know but they were not able to view the surveillance cameras because I couldn’t pin point the date.
I wish they would attach barb or razor wire to the top of the fencing. No guarantees but may cause someone to think twice before jumping the fence. Other than that it’s a good space. May consider moving it to a more secure location.

Absolute worst experience of all. Completely regret choosing this storage for my needs. Gate code not working, customer service was of no help and the overall inconvenience is just absurd. The financial hits they have caused me by not being able to access my storage unit because of their rubbish systems not to talk of wasting my time and resources, annoyed is an understatement. This is easily my worst experience as far as paid services go. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, I wish I had.

Great experience at Storage Mart today! Jaz was super helpful and showed us a few options, she made it stress free and easy to rent our first storage locker. Access was great both during hours & after hours. The facilities are clean, bright and feel maintained & safe. We appreciated the 50% off for 3 months promotion. A positive experience. Highly recommend.

We've rented a locker here 8 years ago and twice this year. Staff have been excellent every time.
Special shout out to Raschin who went out of his way to show me similar lockers without obstructions to maximize locker volume. He clearly explained all the steps and was quick to set up the accounts so I could start moving stuff right away.

Excellent customer service ! . Both Ritchie and Jas went above and beyond. They were able to identify what I needed and what I did not. Prior to renting out the space Ritchie gave me a quick tour of the facility just to break down what i would be expecting and the pros and cons between each unit and location. Well done . Will definitely be recommending your facility to other people

AVOID AND RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I've been renting for a couple months and they suddenly just increase my rent without any notification. I called in to ask and they said they send out the invoice 15 days ago and that is the notice. However, on the original contract it says I’m suppose to get a written notice, but the reception lady said their invoice is the only notice and if I don’t agree with it, then I can move out! I asked if I get a refund if I move out mid-month and she said no because they need only allow you to roll over 7 days, but require 15 days move out notice. I guess they don’t care about customer loyalty and just want your money. They can raise the rent anytime and you just have to suck it up and pay or move out!

NOT worth the hassle, and I wished I never gave them a chance. I rented at other storage places that allowed you to move out with 14 days notice with prorated rent based on the move out date.

I now wanted to update my review as I'm totally disappointed by what just happened... went from 5 stars to zero!!
When I wrote this review, I had changed my storage locker to a different one and got a bit of a price break. Now, only 3 months later, they've raised it right back up to what my rate was prior to the move. What a waste of my time and energy. Guess after all these years, it's time to find a new facility because obviously customer loyalty doesn't matter here.

Jenny and Jazz were so helpful I really enjoyed everything I experienced today getting storage it's my first storage unit that being said they knew exactly what kind I wanted after asking me a few questions they also asked me for wanted to see it I said no but glad when I finally did after getting the unit spacious safe it has all the security features that require I think I'm going to be here for a while

I had the good fortune of stopping in to check availability on a rental, and Jenny was very accommodating, going through the processes and explaining how everything works. I subsequently rented a storage unit and was moving my stuff in within a couple of hours. Great service and was pleased with the pricing I got on my unit. Definitely recommend!!!

Recently booked a medium size unit on the 4th floor. Good price. Paperwork efficient - albeit the way they describe the costs and 1st month free is unnecessarily confusing. (we elected to do paperwork at the office instead of online as a result - which was fine).

The facility is clean. We've been multiple times over the weekends and evenings. Hasn't been busy. (Daytime may be busier?)

Very easy access. Park outside a wide door, 15' straight shot to two elevators. Lots of trolleys. Office closes earlier, but locker access is available until 10pm every night.

Every unit has a unique inbuilt lock ($29 for keys) - so don't bother bringing your own - you can't use it.

the experience was adequate my only complaint was when the csr on the phone said i had to buy a lock then i go to the storage mart
and make me buy a lock for the storage unit I rented in total almost a $163 so I am buying a lock for 8 and then the lock cost me $22 This company needs better communication with customers and the woman who works in the office in Vancouver could'nt care less im paying more thats my only complaint

I love my experience with StorageMart from the beginning I inquire of the unit prices, since it is my 1st time renting a unit. the customer service is absolutely fabulous! Arunbir (not sure of his name) took his time to show us around, recommend what's best unit base on what we need and explain what we need to know about different units! The cleanliness of the storage units and the place itself is very clean! The price is very reasonable compare to other storage business. I will for sure recommend StorageMart! Friendly check in when we arrived (we had won a storage auction)

The office was clean, organized and nicely lit.

Paperwork was done in a timely manor and we were shown to our locker.

The storage lockers are all easily accessible as they are the Drive up type.

The locker we won had a lot of stuff so we had our work cut out for us.

We got a lot moved out the first night. We were given a time frame as to when we had to be finished.

The only downside was that a lady was moving into our unit and was bringing a large moving van.

We were with the manager when she first called and he told her that we wouldn’t be out for when she wanted to come.,

Somehow she managed to snake her way in as she spoke to another employee (not the manager) and when she arrived, we obviously were not done !

There was a few words exchanged and we finished up.

Overall I would recommend!
