Try to avoid booking at end of month, I ended up waiting about 45 minutes to pick up trailer.

Lots of people booking trucks for moving. I just rented a trailer for camping. Should have known.

This location was fully staffed and ready for lots of customers, but it was still very busy. They were doing their best.

Also know that when returning trailer, you can bring it right to the back.

I went through the front at first and got stuck behind a truck that someone just left in the main driveway. U-Haul employees had to move it, but it took time. Please don’t do that!

Next time I’ll pick up day before to avoid any delays. And drop off in the evening

I visited the U-Haul location on Marine Drive. They have a large selection of trucks, but I highly recommend booking as far in advance as possible—especially at the end of the month when it gets incredibly busy.
The trucks are in great condition and very easy to drive. For my 15-foot truck, the cost was around $1 per kilometer, and I was charged $130 for approximately 7 hours of rental time (excluding gas).
They have plenty of parking space at both the front and the back of the building. Their after-hours return process is also incredibly convenient. If you return the vehicle after they close, you just need to take a few photos of the truck, upload them to their website for an easy checkout, and drop the keys into the drop box located right by the main entrance.
The process was smooth and fair from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this location for a hassle-free move!

I recently visited U-Haul on Marine Drive and had a really good experience overall. I had an EcoHitch (P/N ECOX7391) installed at this U-Haul location on my new Forester, and the experience was very disappointing.
Right after picking up the vehicle, I noticed several issues. Tail lights were dirty and slightly scratched, as if they had been put on the floor without any protection. The left tail light trim now has a broken clip, so it wiggles and doesn’t sit properly anymore. Several underbody clips/fasteners for the bumper fascia were missing. There're couple of minor scratches along the body line. Most likely, the team didn't use protective tape. Finally, and most importantly, the bumper fascia doesn’t sit properly now because the cutout for the hitch doesn’t align with the receiver. It sits at an angle where it presses against the hitch. The cut/trim itself looks rough, with rough plastic edges and no proper finishing.

At this point, I don't have any confidence in the instal team and their qualification at this location, and just simply don't wanna bring my car back for them to fix the job. I’ll have to inspect everything myself and re-trim the fascia on my own so it fits properly.

I chose this location because of the reasonable price and was expecting a professional install, but instead I now have to spend my own time fixing the results. The quality of work shows a clear lack of care and basic attention to detail. This was not just one small mistake, it was multiple avoidable issues that should not happen during a professional installation.  AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
