I had a great experience here with my BMW 318i convertible 1992.

I recently came here from Dubai and the service was world class. I’ve tried a few major shops in town which other people recommended however this was by far the best and most honest. They conducted a post purchase inspection on my car and told me what is absolutely necessary. They are fair, don’t push for upsells like some other shops have, and are friendly. Very knowledgeable with these cars. Even though it was a bit far for me to drive to get to their shop, it was worth it.

They also made my sister and I feel welcome. They are real experts and I would recommend them to anyone with a BMW (classic or current).

On a Sunday after an extended road trip, I brought my BMW in after noticing that the check engine light was on. I had to leave town quite urgently the following week, so I needed to get the issue diagnosed and fixed quickly. I called CG Motorsports on Monday, and despite being fully booked up, Will immediately slotted me in on a rush order after I told him about my situation.

My car was in the shop on the same day, and the issue (turned out to be a failed oxygen sensor) was completely fixed by mid-week. The service advisor I was assigned, Chris, was extremely helpful and kept me updated throughout the process. The diagnosis revealed a few other issues worth taking care of, and he took me through each of the problems, how urgent they were, and which ones were worth addressing now and which were not. The whole experience felt very objective-oriented and honest.

I will be taking my car back for some other things later this month. I absolutely recommend these guys for any type of BMW work; the CG team are fast, professional, thorough, and will get top-quality work done for less than any of the dealers I've been to in the lower mainland.

*Edit: forgot to mention I was also gifted some license plate frames. My old ones were getting a bit rough, so it was a very nice gesture.

Recently had my 2000 M coupe in for service and a bumper to bumper assessment of any issues that needed addressing. Received a comprehensive review listing condition and any parts that needed immediate attention and issues that may need attention down the road. I’ve always found CG to be reliable and perform thorough conscientious work each time. 👍👍

Had the team replace the turbos and tune my 2011 Z4 35is. They were very knowledgeable, responsive, and accommodating. I’ve had the car back for a bit over a month and it has been an absolute blast to drive.

Yes the price may be higher than some other third party shops, however you get what you pay for - and here you’re getting a very high quality of work.

Will definitely be coming back in the future.

After multiple unsuccessful attempts to fix the winter wheel alignment on my g87 m2 at a BMW dealership in Vancouver, I decided to give CG Motorsports a try. Great place and good customer service. They initially promised the car would be ready by 4 pm but everything was completed by around 3. The difference was immediately noticeable. My steering wheel is finally straight again and my baby drives exactly the way it should. Looking at the alignment sheet they provided I could see that the front right toe had been significantly off before they corrected it.
They also have a nice customer lounge with cool ///M goodies for sale. I’ll definitely be coming back here to get my summer tires balanced (and for mods).

Excellent service worth crossing the border for. Servicing my BMW was cheaper with CG Motorsports than independent mechanics in the Seattle area. It was a pleasure to meet William, the owner, and Chris Bong. Talked like enthusiasts about the maintenance horizon for my 2013 328i to get many more years of use out of it. I brought my '20 440I in to CG to have my dme unlocked so I could tune it and the first thing I noticed when I walked through the doors of the shop was the cleanliness and all around outstanding look of their showroom and shop, I was greeted like an old friend by their manager Jackson who then promptly got my car into the shop to begin the dme unlock, he kindly directed me in the direction to find some food as the appointment was at 8am and I just got off the ferry, I returned and waited in their awesome waiting area until the procedure had been completed.

Although the job took slightly longer than I had been quoted Jackson honored his quote. All in all outstanding work and the guys there are just awesome ( texted me multiple days later to ensure my car was running properly)

Would recommend this shop to anyone looking for high quality work on their BMW.

I'll definitely be returning in the future.

Still waiting on a used part for my older vehicle. Was told I'd be informed- never happened. Even after I called to check, you'd think they'd get on it. Nope, blow off answer and now it's been over 6 months.

Unless you're spending $$$, get ready to be ignored. I'm not the type of customer they want anymore.

The enthusiast spirit is alive and well at CG Motorsports! Both of my cars were serviced this summer - and I am thrilled with the care and attention that my vehicles received. Transmission/differential service is important despite the manufacturer's "lifetime" fluid claim. The dealer had refused to perform this service for me in the past - and I want to keep my cars in serviceable condition for a long time. The fact that the transmission manufacturer has a recommended service interval that BMW chose to override is beyond me. However, the job got done by CG - and the service was punctual and cost-effective. Beyond that, the work performed is CLEAN and tidy - the S63 engine had all of the turbo coolant lines addressed, as well as oil pan gaskets and a complete PCV overhaul, and it looks better than when it was new. The car runs as well as it did many years ago as well. For those of us wanting to keep our older cars alive, CG Motorsports is the place to go.

I brought my BMW M2 in for wiring issues and they did a fantastic job. They found and fixed problems from previous poor repairs, replaced what was necessary, and got rid of all fault codes. Overall I had a pretty decent experience with this place, their services were fast and good quality but fairly highly priced, although somewhat justified. The customer service was stellar before, during and after the job. The staff I have talked to were for the most part kind and caring, I did have one small misunderstanding with the team, but immediately after they found out about it they rushed to clarify and correct the misunderstanding, they seem to really care about customer satisfaction and that is rare. They have an amazing facility with some amazing builds on display. Nothing major but they did provide me with some services before my expressed permission (installing a O ring to fix a boost leak, I had just wanted to identify the location/cause of) and I wasn’t fully prepared for the cost increase (~$383) but I made it work in the end. Overall good quality service, only real downside is the price but if can you afford it they are more then worth it.

*Excellent*. After a bunch of screwing around through mechanics. I finally decided to travel out to Richmond to get my BMW fixed. They were very quick to get me in on a cancellation. Once in i told them what I thought the issue was, they called me back later that day to let me know that they checked it but the issue was actually coming from my valve cover. They sent out a handy form that allows you to see everything they’ve done along with what needs to be done and what has to be done. So I got my valve cover changed, new spark plugs. All in a couple of days. It was even done earlier than they told me it would be. Hands down great guys, car is running great! Hands down the only place to take your BMW!!!
