Very bad experience with them. I rented out almost a week ago. While doing all the paperwork she mentioned that you must buy a speacial lock however did not mention that i need to put the lock right away. They called me once in the middle of the week however due to schedule, i could not pick up the call. As i have applied to the several stores, i thought this is from one of them reaching me out for the storage unit. Please note no emails no voicemail nothing left by them. I rented the Uhaul yesterday and put all the stuff, went to the location and i saw there is a lock on the unit. I tried reaching them out however no one was available and i had to rent out the Uhaul for two days and they have charged me approximately 180$. We tried talking to the associate who rented out the unit to us and she said it is your responsibility to put the lock as we were not supposed to tell you. When i said, i would like to talk to the manager she said she will let him know and later she said she is the manager. I dont understand if this is not their responsibility to inform why they were calling me afterwards. I dont suggest anyone to rent out unit from them.

I had a wonderful experience with SmartStop SelfStorage. From the very beginning, Lindsey in customer service made my online signup smooth and stress-free. A special thank you to Dilini, who went above and beyond by kindly waiting for me after closing hours following a call from the District Manager. I will never forget her kindness.

I also want to commend Simran, whom I first met back in May 2025 at the Mavis location while she was filling in for Eshan. Her professionalism and welcoming attitude are the primary reasons I chose to rent a unit at this location.

The facility itself is excellent. Spacious, clean, well-maintained, and brightly lit. Thank you, Dilini and Simran, for making this such a positive experience. Highly recommend this location!

Did an event for charity and locker facility closed at 10pm. Unfair and wrongful. Management needs to have someone 24/7 in order to have someone answer the door/phone. What the purpose of a locker if no access after 10pm. Sad that this occurred.

Then I went on Tuesday to fix.. The smart lady Selena figured me. I got me extension kindly. I was an excellent person.

Really helpful staff! Clean storage unit and sometimes has promotions for 1 month free. They sell locks, and have all the necessary packaging. This ranges from cloth boxes, bubble wrap rolls, packing tape, tape gun dispenser, film elastic wrapping, and even mattress boxes. They sell locks and have different size boxes. They also have a box for you to put your television in. Check the Brewster (separate) website for discounts.

Been using this facility for several months now. It's very clean and well-lit. The staff are very warm. I like the security setup. You need a code to enter the lot and a code to enter the climate-controller building. You need a code to exit, as well. I was surprised that contents insurance was not optional, but it's a small price to pay to protect your property. I intend to continue using this facility long-term.

Wonderful experience from start to finsh. I rented a storage here and was super happy with the facility. Everthing was very clean and well mantained.
