Although the dealership initially shipped the wrong part for my 2022 GLS 450, the technician caught it immediately, explained the situation politely, and reordered the correct glass right away. We had a large crack across our windshield that needed to be replaced. The Safelite team worked to get us scheduled quickly and the team members who helped us along the way did a great job explaining what they would do and why. After a few appointments because of weather and calibration issues, we have a new windshield that looks great and we feel safe.

I have had so much respect for this company for years. They have been my go to for car glass and I hacmve recommended them highly to friends and family. Well today that all ends. They came out to replace my windshield. About 2 weeks later I noticed the trim that runs up and down inside the vehicle was coming lose on both sides. It was also filthy dirty. It wasn't a priority so I thought "I will get to it". This past Saturday I was getting brake work done at a shop a few doors down so I decided to walk over, explain the situation, the lady pulled up my information and mentioned it was over a year ago. I could have sworn it was a few months. Anyway, she walked with me to the shop where the car was to look at it but told me to bring it when I was done. I proceeded to do that and she had a technician look at it. He pretended to fix it but as soon as I touched it it came undone again. I asked him if it's supposed to clip and hesaid yes that they can fix it under warranty and for me to go inside and schedule an appointment. I went in amd got an appointment for Wednesday. Today is Tuesday and a little after 5pm some lady called talking about I was supposed to let them know within 30 days so I proceeded to cancel the appointment. It is a shame that their workers can't care for people's property correctly. All repairs for my vehicle are expensive so now on top of giving them business I have to oay to get this fixed that they messed up and take no responsibility for. Be careful, look for alternatives.

My initial order was incorrect because the windshield glass was the wrong size. The technician identified the issue right away and rescheduled the installation with the correct glass. Dan was an excellent technician—professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the process. Once the correct windshield arrived, the installation went smoothly. I’m very satisfied with the service and appreciate how the issue was handled. Highly recommend!

My tech Jason was amazing! He explained everything I needed to do after the install as well as being prompt and efficient! Very good customer service! I highly recommend safelite just make sure to tell them if they change the appt date to forwarn you.
