I called this place because I needed my rear brakes changed and specifically asked if they worked on Subaru's. They said they did.

When I got the car home, my handbrake barely worked anymore. I brought it back in and they claimed they never touched it, took no responsibility, but said the could fix it for another fee, of course. They also said that it would be a complicated job because they would have to take the entire center console apart to get at the handbrake cable.

then I looked into it myself and found out that on a Subaru, the handbrake needs to be adjusted when doing the rear brakes. It took me all of 5 minutes to fix once I had the wheels off.

So either they don't actually know how to work on Subaru's, or they expected me to come back and pay them to finish the job. After spending $600 there, that's completely unacceptable.

the only reason I'm not giving a 1 star review is because my new brakes are working fine. but still I definitely won't be back.

Excellent service. I came in with a concern on top of a basic oil change, they suggested and explained the fix for my car saying it wouldn't be necessary for an immediate fix. Very polite, and speak both french and english.
